It is worked like this in the Birthday Summon portal.

If the selectable featured hero is not pullable without selecting, then it is not visible if you slide through the heroes, but the chance for pulling it there.

Decided to throw $10 for 1200 coins, so had 12 pulls along with 4 free ones. Didn’t expect anything, especially after pulling Starwalker and Sparklight yesterday, however:

Got who I wanted the most. However I don’t have Telescopes. Oh well.

This is too easy now, i dont even have to plan my heroes in advance, I used to always have to look at the guides and see what bosses there were, now I just use the teams I already know and like and work together, and use them on any stage I feel I want to use them on

I used to save Miki for the stage 10 for example

I give up…every portal for 3 weeks has given me nothing but stuff I don’t want. I shouldn’t be ungrateful for legendaries, but when the 4 I’ve gotten have been 3 classic and then this one that I have no interest in. It would just be nice to pull something good that I want…

Edit: so apparently the game heard me, as right after I posted this decided to do two more pulls in Astral and got Moon and Spark on the 2nd pull. Are they trying to tell me to complain more lol?

Had some fun planning this one out. I beat it last time but I forget who I used for most of the stages but kept track this time.

1. Scarlett/Colen/Gormek/Shadereave/Kelile all minimally leveled. (arrow-minor mana-minor health-health)
2. Treevil/Oberon/Renfeld/Guardian Bat/Gil-Ra (arrow-minor mana-minor health-health)
3. Kvasir/Dawa/Bane/Tyrum/Jack (arrow-minor mana-minor health-health)
4. Marjana/C-Hawkmoon/Frida/Graymare/Vodnik This was close, need better healing or more damage. Marjana and Frida not leveled up. (arrow-minor mana-minor health-health)
5. Frosty/Pixie/Gan Ju/Waqas/Nashgar Tough one, could use one or two better heroes. (arrow-minor mana-minor health-health)
6. Tiburtus/Treevil/Rigard/Sally/Poppy I should have lost this one, need to upgrade this line up for next time. (arrow-minor mana-minor health-health)
7. Junaid/Waqas/Wilbur/Virgil/Guardian Lemer (arrow, minor mana, mana, minor health)

I had enough for 3 summons after I completed the challenge thanks to some leftover from last time. I wasn’t even going to use them but I had that Path of Giants ‘Summon an Epic Hero’ challenge to complete, of course I get 3 Rare heroes.

I had C-Hel and Satori. Got lucky and got Satori so I’ve chosen C-Alasie now, but I don’t intend to pull much. I also have C-Perseus so there’s that. I’d go with Satori and C-Perseus; C-Hel is nice, but blue EDD is blue EDD, and heal block is priceless in this meta where some heroes can heal to full with a snap of finger.

Welp, I’m done with this portal. I wanted Lazara, but alluded me. Hopefully he’ll come up in covenant soon. In the meantime, I got this. Wasn’t expecting it when “bonus draw” came up. Was expecting the HOTM.

True, but stats are so far behind it would take 2lb to make viable. I will say, even though he needs a buff, it is a rare hero, so I’ll keep him around. I’ll also say I do love his Special animation.

I was hoping to get Lazara. (In terms of new skills and stats, only the Champions are worth trying for in the Legends portal, but since I am a collector, I don’t mind pulling a bit more even if I get older heroes.)

So, I did about 80 pulls using saved coins bought from offers. First fifty pulls or so, I got Hel (yay! new hero, one of my two selected featured, the other being Alasie). Then, I got Gregorion (after Hel, I switched to Gregorion as my selected featured). Of course, I would have preferred Lazara, but Gregorion is new to me, so still a win. And I can level him up to 3-70 to use on Mythic Titans, even if he is unlikely to get the Tonics.

So now, I switch my featured selection to Drake Fong. But just three pulls later, I get Gregorion again (who is now actually very much lower in probability?!!)! And two pulls later after this second Gregorion, I get Gravemaker, also unfeatured. (At least I got his base card levelled up, so his costume is appreciated!)

What are the odds?! I would very much prefer a Lazara, thankyouverymuch! Alas, no. But still, 4 5*-s from ~80 pulls is a good outing. Now, if only my Covenant pulls were better (35 pulls so far, and 0 5*, except for Lianna, pfft…).
