So here comes the real question related to trainer troops.
How are they going to be released?
Are they going to be available as a bonus in the regular troop summon [or variation of, for example whatever the Black Friday Summon is going to be] for ETTs?
We are approaching Ninja Event. People hoarded ETTs for months since the last one was moved. Itâs expected people will zero their ETT balance on that Ninja Troop summon as usual. What if the next week we have a Black Friday Troop summon where the trainer troops are added? Everyoneâs already spent their ETTs so only way to get Trainer Troops is to summon them with gems.
Of course itâs just a theorycrafting now, but sadly, SG recently has reputation of holding off on releasing information to ensure people make uneducated decisions instead of hoarding resources (see - Atlantis Costumes added to beta just right after Atlantis, ToL extra chest announcement right after ToL event etc).
As always, I wanted to spend my 70 ETTs right after Ninja Portal is open but this idea has me torn. How about you guys? Are you planning to spend your ETTs on Ninjas, or hoard them just in case Black Friday Summon allows to use them with chance to get trainer troops?

I decided after the first mention of trainer troops to hold my ETT.
I can live another 3 months without spending a single token and wait for the next Ninja tower if tokens arenât used to summon trainer troops.
But I would absolutely hate me if I pulled in the Ninja portal (where I donât need anything, regardless what I get there it would be just food for my manatroops), and one week later either during black Friday or what else trainer troops would be available with coins.
So until Trainer troops are added into the game I will definitely hold my coins, even if the announce tomorrow that it wonât be possible to get them with coins, I would still wait and see how things really work in the end. I have no stress at all using my coinsâŚ

I need more âhigh-poweredâ feeders and am still thinking on my ETT usage during this coming NT.
If there are no trainer troops this round, I may split the usage into 2 rounds.

Ohh exciting dilemma! As I am also quite the horder, and the last Ninja portal wasnât very kind to me so I gave up after spending about half of my horded ETT. I think I will spend half of what I am sitting on in ninja and save half for Black Friday.

I hope they get added into HA at some point. Since we can make trainer heroes, we should be able to make Trainer Troops as well. HA9 would be perfect to replace

Yeah I posed some of those questions in the topic starter. Really I donât like the idea of waiting 3 more months to use troop tokens. I am guessing they will not be with the regular troop summon, most regular summons do not include trainer heroes for example.

Did my troop summons today, happy with the results got a 3rd blue Mana and can move up a level on all my top troops from the feeders. I have my doubts that ETT can pull trainer troops, I think they will be premium for awhile which is why I proceeded with the troop summons.

I hedged my bets. Had 80 ETT when Ninja Tower opened, used 40 of them.

By purchasing them in deals same as aethers I guess.
They may get added as loot to events I guess but purchase in deals seems the obvious delivery system
Problem there is, I am pretty sure the whales who are the usual target of such offers probably do not need to train their troops anymore; Iâve seen them with 5 maxed manas years ago already.
Unless they target young whales. Not sure though what numbers of those are out there. Itâs endangered species nowadays,

Their exp wasnt that much better than standard troops, biggest deal is you can use on any color so for me that was green since I didnât get that Mana until May this year.
