What’s better mana or magic troops?
If you are starting from level 1… I’d go magic. If you already have your mana troop at 17 or 23… then I’d probably take it to 29.
Dear friend, ninja troops came with ninja tower. But magic troops did not come. You miss this point. Since I already got all ninja troops, and there were no specific troop for magic tower, I did not wait for it and spent them. And suddenly a new kind mana troop is coming to game without any announcements. Ninja troops were not essential but magic troops look essential and a lot of people will want and upgrade them.
Imagine using these troops with costume alby, athena, musashi, hel and ares with 2017 hotm bonus.
9 tiles for alby
8 tiles for hel
8 tiles for ares
8 tiles for athena
6 tiles for musashi
And when alby goes
7 tiles for alby
6 tiles for hel, ares, athena
5 tiles for musashi
And you get stop mana, revive, heal, critical, extra damage for yellow and red, def down for all opponents. I think it will be totally unbeatable for attack

Magic troops are the best troops for mana generation bonus.
Summoning troops on magic tower is the best choice for players who needs mana generation troops regardless of them being new or old.
Having a set of Magic troop is very well worth as it’s easier to reach “mana breakpoints”.
You can use them everywhere to a great effect, they are expecially good with healers and on slower heroes. Pair him with mana generation heroes to charge your team even faster.

I see what you are saying. My point is drawing in either the ninja or now the magic tower gives you a better chance at a 4 star troop. Even if you don’t need them, 4 stars troop are much better feeders.

Just wondering - in the chart above it says for slow you need level 27 Magic troops for 10 tiles - but watching anchor’s new video about magic troops it says level 29 is needed for 10 tiles …. Which one is correct ? Is it level 27 or level 29 ?

I got zero Wizard troops… But as someone who finally got all his mana troops to lvl 29 after 3.5 years… I’m in no rush to start from zero on new mana (wizard) troops.

But one thing that still is unknown to me…
In the calculator is the stages for ninja heroes - charge 1/2/3.
But what are the tile charges for the magic heroes 1/2 ? I have not seen this info before!

Magic heroes speed cannot be the same as Ninja charge 1 and 2. Magic charge 1 is kind of similar with Ninja Charge 1. But Magic Charge 2 is somewhere between 12 and 12.5 tiles. Ninja charge 2 is around 10 tiles.

I read it was 5.6 tiles for first… And 12.5 for second. I have my own mana calculator and it seems to check out.

12.3 tiles for the second charge, a bit less than very slow heroes. In comparison Ninja charge on 4.9/9.8/14.7

Magic charge 1 is around 5 tiles. Similar to Ninja charge 1. Matching 6 tiles will do the trick without any mana boost.
