Was really lucky on pull and got JF in one pull.
I have Ares, Anzogh, Santa, Grazul and Elen on 3/70 I am not sure to go on JF first or to level somebody above first.
Not sure if he is that good, all do I love DOT heroes.

Posted one up earlier in thread. Board was so good though that he didn’t have a ton to do, and I didn’t want to do another raid video either.
Pair him with Mitsy to forget about blue enemy threats and with emblems he will become tanky too.

This thread does not disappoint. I am amused to hear that JF would have to queue behind the likes of Gravemaker, Ares, Puss in Boots, Queen of Hearts and Santa. If I ever draw one of those it’ll be too late, JF will have long digested the rings. Likewise I’m not too bothered that he would have to share emblems with Zeline, Hel, Guinevere or Onatel, as I don’t have any of those either. If I get JF later this month I shall be humbly grateful. On which note, I also find it hilarious that so many people who were dead against his current form on the beta thread, and it seems remain unimpressed by him at release, couldn’t wait to splash out tokens pulling for him. Maybe so they could explain on the forum on day 1 why they were now going to leave him cluttering up the roster, possibly forever. Seems a bit expensive just for a spot of one-upmanship.

While I am stoked to pull him on the 1st day, along with my 1st Vivica, I am less excited about pull him than other hotm. Partially because I already have a lot of fire heroes I want to feed, but also because he’s niche hero.
I think he will be fantastic against elephants, Isarnia, Kuncheon, and Santa, but only meh in most other situations. His resistances don’t really fit with his skill. His skill also doesn’t sinc well with the wizard’s jinx talent. I will level him up eventually.
5 EHT, nothing. Guess I’m done for this month. Back to my other projects…

had a chance to fight him a couple of hours hes released, already at 80 +7. need a lot of work to keep him alive and fire… . the second raid was no good of tiles but wanted to figt a 3rd time, and my plans srewd up. check this out.

Here’s a fight against an unemblemed JF. He might wind up making a nicer defensive hero than I thought. Lucky board at the end won it for me but adding Jean in with other ailment heroes or DOT like Vela is going to be tough. Need multiple cleanses

His resist counters like 3 heroes in the game. Only 1 is blue and not even a 5 star.

I just leveled his special to 8/8 and the burn is at 230 burn for 2 turns instead of 302 burn for 2 turns. Where can I send a message to LG?

Damage Over Time scales with the hero’s base attack stat, so you’ll need to max him to 4-80 to get the Burn to 302.

Faced a JF in flank already and was no trouble as didn’t get it’s special off (and all I had as a average board) and even if he did I would have had my countless counters ready in terms of cleansers, dispelled , gazelle, Grazul that can always be used and would have had no impact on me . in saying that if they had Gm instead on defence he Would have fired and put pressure on me and raid may have had a different result . But as I stated previously his speed makes him significantly inferior to GM (maths calculations only work on perfect boards and frankly does not matter what hero you have )
I just hope all those that jumped on the nerf JF bandwagon passionately argue for nerfs for these realm bonuses and s3 heroes as well as they are significantly ‘more op” than JF ever was or maybe they don’t have same incentive as they didn’t have to protect their GM hero
