Since youāre collecting experience, hereās mine. He is absolutely one of my most favourite heroes to main. I main him with Lepus and killhare for that family bonus and he has one of the highest base attacks in the team (on a side note, he can absorb an enemy boboās massive -60% attack down because of this)
I also use him over roostley because doesnāt have that drawback.
Another reason why I use him is because he is quite an expandable hero, itās not the end of the world if he dies early. If a sniper fires a skill at him, they essentially waste their skill on a half dead rabbit. I also park my jack at the wing so that splashers minimise their damage to the team, kinda like a pseudo taunter in a way. Against any riposters, I fire him first to soften any damage before my killhare and Lepus attacks. And because he is ranger, he may bypass any riposte to live for another round
I cannot stress how important jack is in my team. Quite an underrated anchor hero
But to be fair, you need the other 2 Springvale heroes to maximise jackās potential
Interesting take on it, thanks! I have mine leveled and use him only on my autofarm team for stuff like 1:7-4, 1:8-7 and the easier quests. It does sound like it could have potential but other heroes definitely have more potential.
Oh wauw thatās amazing! In essence I understand that Jack is more of a ābufferā for the rest of the team. The extra 10% crit, meatshield for sniper attacks and to soften the enemy a bit.
I do have Lady woolerton to pair with him which could be interesting but sadly no 5* springvale heroes. So Iām think limit breaking another green 4* would suit my roster better.
Thanks for the information!
Hereās my jack with killhare and lepus composition. With Heimdallās +30% attack he goes up to 1700+ tile damage. At the wings to absorb any sniper/splasher blows, minimising damage with the heimdall flank. Not only does he provide powerful offence, he has some really interesting utility to support my team.
But I understand not everyone would have these heroes. So do consider your roster before planning on what heroes work for you.
Yeah, I donāt see particular good synergies in my own roster with jack. Maybe almur and buddy but Iām not sure how those will hold in the 5* arena.
How does Jack do in 4* tournaments? Where you cannot pair him with the 5* springvale heroes. He sounds quite strong on defense already if he fires, especially bloody tournaments. Offensively paired with stuff like brynhild (to keep him alive) and buddy/almur he sounds strong, what is your experience with those situations?
I donāt play tourneys anymore so I donāt have any experience on that, sorry about it. But I could imagine him being paired well with almur. Both are fast and you can time their specials back to back. Yeah, any hero that could sustain him like Brynhild would also be great to supplement his meatshielding effects. Basically if he gets fired on by any sniping skills, he has done his job
Awesome! I guess Iāll emblem mine up and see how he performs in my green stack and on tournaments. I can always reset him. If I like it I might limit break as wel, thanks for all the insights!
Got Jack a while back, maxāed him because I max every 3* and 4* I get. He got a couple test runs early, but since then has never made it off the bench for anything. He just doesnāt cut it vs. the rest of my green 4*'s.
DGERic, i have an off topic question: what do you think of Wren and Orla?
I would not use him in Rush, Iād rather use Slow hit-alls like Skittleskull or Little John - they still hit hard but also have a good additional effect.
I donāt personally use him in Buff Booster, as I find snipers/one-hitters more useful (for Buff I use 2x Brynhild, 1x Caedmon, 1x Caedmon-C, 1x Hansel, and it works really wellā¦ ) In Buff I think itās more important to take one key target out at a timeā¦
that leaves Bloody, the one place I use him. Heās ok, though itās a bit annoying that heās fast whereas defense-droppers like Marcel and Buddy or averageā¦ and of course his defense-drop hurts more in Bloody.
heās ok, and usable, but not the best. I use him much more in PVE where health potions can be used to keep him alive.
With the exception of C.Rigard (+20 & LB) my 4*'s only see action in Tourneys and Events these days. So I donāt have a ton of experience with the newer 4*'s.
I like Wren; sorta like a mini-Finely when you pick the correct target (w/ buffs) to start.
I find the Slayers interesting when you have a situation where the battle goes longer and they have time to ramp up those stacks. Tower stages might be the best example of that. Obviously in Rush tourneys theyāre fantastic. With Orla specifically I find her special a bit ābackwardsā: she does extra damage when the target has low healthā¦ but thatās not when I want/need the extra damage, I think it would be better if the extra damage was when the target had more than 50% health (like Kage does).
