I need help prioritizing

Hi all,

I could really use some help deciding what heroes to level next. My priorities are titans, then raids and wars. Any advice, and especially discussion, would be greatly appreciated.

Purple (7 trap tools, 4 tabards)
Current leveled 4/5*:

Available options:

My initial thoughts:
Obviously finishing Hel is the priority. Kunchen is the one I’ve wanted to do forever. I could definitely use a 5* healer. Sabina would be quicker and much less painful, but I can’t stand my Melendor, so I’m not keen on prioritizing his clone.

Yellow (17 orbs, 7 darts)
Current leveled 4/5*:

Available options:

My initial thoughts:
I’m light on 4* here, but none of them interest me at all except maybe another Jackal, which I do have. Li too, I guess, but meh. I was pretty sold on Ranvir, but Tarlak makes me wonder if that’s the best plan. Inari seems like a lot of fun. Vivica another healer, but seems less useful than the other two and don’t really want to level two healers, especially when there are objectively better healers out there.

Green (10 shields, 4 tonics)
Current leveled 4/5*:

Available options:

My initial thoughts:
I know, I know. Skittle sucks, but she was my first 4*. Clearly Tarlak is the big fish here. I just pulled him today, but the real question I have is should I stop working Caedmon and move on immediately or wait until I finish Caedmon. Also, the idea of leveling Ranvir and Tarlak together seems silly to me given that I wouldn’t use them both on titans. Do I have to pick one?

Blue (2 capes, 5 scopes)
Current leveled 4/5*:

Available options:

My initial thoughts:
After finishing Frida, I’d love to do Magni, but I’m pretty sniper heavy with my 5*. My gut tells me Triton would be a valuable addition to my 4* depth. Not excited about it, but it will keep me occupied for a while with a useful card.

Red (10 hidden blades, 2 rings)
Current leveled 4/5*:

Available options:

My initial thoughts:
Once I finish Marjana, I’m completely lost here. None of these options do anything for me other than maybe a duplicate Wilbur or BT for war. Gormek makes a lot of sense bc I need a barbarian, but that’s a big niche need and I finish trials one way or another. Elena just seems so easy to take out. Little interest in Colen or Lancelot. I guess Anzogh is ok.

I look forward to hearing your collective wisdom. Thanks for reading!

Dark: You don’t have a dark sniper, unfortunately. I don’t care for Ameonna and Cheshire Cat is kinda gimmicky… I’d say either Sabina or Kunchen. You have 7 trap tools. I would max Sabina while waiting for the tabards for Kunchen.

Yellow: I’m actually going to be leveling Ranvir myself. After Poseidon, anyway. I pulled for Tarlak today, hoping for him instead. Since you have Wu maxed and you have Tarlak, I don’t think Ranvir is necessary. You are light on 4*, but I personally don’t care for Danzaburo. I have one at 3/60 and don’t plan on maxing him anytime soon, even with 35 orbs. If you decide to max Kunchen, he makes a great tank and a 5* healer, so I’d go with Inari. Her ability is unique. Really though, Vivica is a 5* healer, and those are important. Justice is good, but I would go with Inari or Vivica.

Green: You have a sniper(Lianna), a mana controller(Hansel), a displler and healer(Melendor). I know you don’t have the tonics, but since you are prioritizing titans. Tarlak. Tarlak. Then Tarlak again. I am so jealous. I pulled for him but got Mitsuko instead. Caedmon isn’t that highly leveled, I would leave him for now. As for Ranvir/Tarlak. Their abilities do NOT work well together. You already have a maxed Wu… go with Tarlak. Leave Ranvir for now is my advice. Yeah, he’s good, but with a maxed Wu and having Tarlak… he doesn’t add enough to your capabilities to be worth the darts.

Blue: You have a healer, a pulverizor, a dispeller. You are looking good for blue. Magni is an amazing sniper. Like you said, you are sniper heavy. Triton is also a sniper, but you are really low on capes. You need 2 capes to max Triton. You need 6 capes and a scope to max Magni. That said, Frostmarch is coming up soon, which will get you your 6th scope. I’d look at where you are on mats when Frida is maxed, then go from there.

Red: I’d rule out Kelile. Marjana is basically a 5* version of her. I’d go with Gormek. All three pulverizors are worth maxing

Right you do have plenty of options to work with here and since your priorities are Titans it is easy to help direct your levelling plan.
Green - Let’s start with the obvious here. Tarlak is key for titans. He is the lynch pin for most teams so he is your #1 goal to max. I would take him to 3/70 then if you haven’t received your full set of tonics, continue working on Caedmon. I think Caedmon is ‘ok’ in the current meta because of the rise of Aegir tanks, but otherwise he is Mr Average.

Yellow - This leads me to Ranvir. I think given that you have Wu maxed and Tarlak for your non-purple, non-red titans, Ranvir takes a back seat here. For me the choice is Inari for her insane tile damage (highest for yellow, 3rd highest in the game). This would give you a pretty optimum titan squad of Wilbur/ Jackal/ Joon/ Inari/ Wu Kong.

Purple - After finishing Hel, your choices are really Kunchen and Cheshire Cat. It depends on what level of titans you are hitting. Cat offers the same defense down as Wilbur for Holy enemies with the caveat he is not that durable. He is also semi decent vs. yellow tanks although having played a fair bit with him, his shuffle ability is just too random for my liking. Alternatively you could go for the more stable and useful Kunchen, who will also be your defensive tank for raids. I think Kunchen is the better long term investment overall.

Blue - I’m a bit confused with your argument in not wanting another sniper in Magni, but would consider working on Triton (who is a sniper himself). For me my choice is Magni since he has very high tile damage which is what you need for your blue squad. Oh and he is a bit of an upgrade over Sonya as a sniper.

Red - After Marjana, you need to decide whether you want to go all-in on Elena or not. She has very high tile damage which is what you are lacking with your Red squad. As you mention Elena is fragile, and her tile damage will not be great at 3.70 so you need to decide if you want to max her or leave her alone. To be honest, none of the options are really appealing otherwise. I suppose you could work on Lancelot for events… What you are really lacking here is Guardian Falcon so if you do draw him at some point in the future, he would be your priority to max.

Thanks for the input! Excellent advice so far. It’s really helpful.

I meant to say in the initial post that I have all classic 4* even if they are not shown.

I appreciate breaking it down by what abilities I have and am missing by color. That definitely needs to be more aligned with how I make these decisions.

As far as my argument against Magni, I was just focusing on the fact that 3 of my 5 current 5* are snipers. But as you are correctly pointing out, that is largely irrelevant given how I generally stack for raids and it’s not like my defense team will be all snipers.

A defense team with a solid tank like Guin/ Kunchen surrounded by 4 hard hitting snipers is very popular in Diamond and pretty lethal. The fact that someone like Magni also buffs up the defense of heroes around him is gravy. Sure, he is not Alasie but I also think he is slightly better than Alice on defense.

You do have a very nice solid titan hitting squad that will garner you big scores! Congrats!

Thanks for the help!

I just did a last min 30 pull hoping for Mitsuko. I am not disappointed to report that I instead ended up with Athena! Safe to say she goes to the front of the line for my blues or would you still suggest going with Magni?

You already have Wilbur maxed who is excellent for titans but Athena has the potential to improve your damage. This is a tricky one and the answer depends on the level of titans you are fighting and how much items you use to hit said titans… Let me explain, at 10* and above, the titans hit very hard. Most titans have the ability to kill your hero in 1 or 2 hits. With Athena, you will want to be packing a fair few healing potions or tornado/ timestops if you have a medium board with your titan. Wilbur is more consistent in that you could just pack some mana pots to mana him up from the start to keep your heroes protected and healthy.
I still think Athena is the correct choice for you since your priority is titans, but it is close.

Thanks again, @genuineness. My alliance generally cruises past 7* titans and I’d say we are about 50/50 to beat 8*. Have not yet seen a 9* that I can recall and if we did we would stand no shot. Don’t see us getting there for a good while.

I used to use small or medium mana pots to charge up Wilbur and Wu for nearly all hits, but I’m taking a step back from that bc it’s costing me too much food. So currently I’m not using anything but the occasional arrow or turtle banner on titan hits.
