@NittanyLionRoar; You made it look very easy there! How do I determine what are bad tiles? The video is going a bit too fast for my brain to understand what is going on.

Bad tiles = all tiles, that have a color different to your attack team.

The more you can dump into the opponent, the better chances to get the colors of your stack. He dumped green tiles to get red ones.

If you’re able to make a bad color diamond in the very beginning do it. You may clear the board of that bad color without charging the entire enemies and if they’ll charge up, try to charge weaker hitting enemies or healers first to avoid heavy damage.

I also go for horizontal bad matches to spread mana charge or dump a bad vertical match into a wing or slow enemy or slower side of the tank. Everything that will make the opponent charge later can give you advantages.

@Olmor; Yes, that finally clicked lol. But if I play a rainbow team that goes out the window.

Yes, you won’t have bad tiles when attacking rainbow, but 3, 4 or 5 of one color will deal much more tile damage to kill some enemies (most likely the tank or deadliest threat) by tiles even if none of your team is charged.

If someone create a scroll-able match-3 game, then you can tell for sure if a board is bad or good.

That was not a bad board.
You don’t see all upcoming tiles and you can’t predict them, so you never can tell if it is a good or bad.
Initial state can deceive, so keep playing - I would say 4-5 moves are enough to tell if it is worth it to continue playing - especially against Fast and Very Fast teams.

I must say - you got lucky with that 20% chance of red diamond
But can’t deny those were good game-play decisions from a seasoned player.

My philosophy is: Stop fighting the randomness. You’ll never find a good strategy against it. Enjoy your victories, don’t get bummed about your losses. The only thing you can do is take your time when solving, so you don’t miss good moves. This is the only way to increase your win/loss ratio.

Watching someone’s gameplay will give you inspiration and you may learn some tricks.
So you are welcome to watch my YouTube videos too :stuck_out_tongue:
