⚖ Hero Balance Discussion: Meresankh

Seems she must be SE food.

You folks are insane. She already does too damn much. Stop begging for buffs to already strong heroes.
You are feeding the machine.

Remember it took a while for Musketeers to be used, and now they are completely breaking the game.
If anything, better use this energy you have to ask for a damn nerf to the ridiculousness that Aramis is. Undispellable block + overheal on 300% to 3… what a joke this game has become. 0 balance, 0 gameplay design.

Well, SG set the expectation when they featured a new hero to attract sales, which they received plenty of, and labeled her Sphinx of the Sun. Perhaps the details and adjustments are not something they prioritize but they set the precedent with the Aramises of the world.

Yes, your unbalanced take is true, and that’s precisely the point of this thread. You are contradicting yourself. It would have been more valuable to the company and community to provide constructive feedback about why she’s a relevant hero. The worst thing for consumers is to pay for something they can’t use.

The fact is the consensus feels disappointed, from those who spent and streamers who have experience facing her. Whether the issue gets addressed is what’s important. There’s plenty of competition around, so if you’re disheartened with their track record of creating parity, perhaps try a game that suits you better. I am considering it now too. The angry rants aren’t very helpful.

The difference between Meres and Aramis, is when you’re close to getitng him down with tiles, he heals the whole team anywhere from 700 to 100 and hits around 700 to 3. Meres hit is anywhere from 120 to 400 from the limited 2 times I went against here. She went off both times as I have a vested interest in her and I was able to get her down easily without much of a problem. She isnt a tank in her current set up and if you have to run her as a flank, Im sure she will be ok but there are so many better yellow flanks out there

There’s quite a few holy heroes I try to avoid, suffice to say, Meresankh isn’t 1 of them. In fact if someone is stupid enough to put her on tank duty I’m all over it. Happened twice, don’t know why they put her as tank, no other option maybe?? So underpowered it’s embarrassing !!! Feel sorry for the players that pulled her excited to get a shiny new 5* only to realise she’s poop! The impossible riddle is how they thought this version of her is acceptable for a new 5* ??

Apparently it is possible to solve her riddle

Any reason to waste food on this one? I do need a yellow project.

A post was merged into an existing topic: :sunny: Eset – Season 5 Hero – 5* Holy / Yellow: Thoughts, Discussion & Summon Results with Feedback

Her attack is weak. If she hit 200-300 for average speed she would be more usable to all not just newbies who are happy to get any 5 star.

What’s saving me is the influx of better Holy heroes I got after getting her. Now, I don’t have enough mats to ascend her past 3/70.

Perhaps, I’ll level her up to that point and hope she gets a buff later. :man_shrugging:

There’s soooo many better holy options out there which shouldn’t be the case really should it, to say that about a brand new release isn’t good !! Even an increase on par with Atomos’s damage is something but when u have Sobek hitting for 290% period, it has to be more. Never a fan of damage being dependent on another factor cuz let’s face it the game is getting difficult as is with all the new heroes with sooo many special attributes but even then, in the best case scenario only doing 250% damage , yes, the 20% mana cut is decent but the mana regen needs to be more. It says something when Malosi gets the mats over her, well he hasn’t yet but it’s looking.that way Especially with the influx of buff & ailment heavy heroes. Malosi just shuts them down at VF. Yes, there’s the stat difference, of course, but shud I really be comparing an old HotM to a brand spanking shiny new hero? In terms of worth to me I’d say Malosi is way more useful. Especially with the recent alpha aether passive skills, charging mana quick enough is even more crucial. At VF u fire Mali just b4 Ludwig & he does nothing !! Same for quite a lot of these troublesome heroes. Compare that to what Meresankh does !! Pretty shocking IMO. I suppose Meresankh is slightly better against a team as a whole but to use against those OP, crazy powerful heroes like G. Hippo, Anne, etc. u can’t go wrong with Malosi. Meresankh just prolonged the inevitable but Malosi completely prevents it & can charge quick enough to keep on doing it time & time again being VF. I was still at odds whether to finish Malosi or start Meresankh but after writing this I’ve decided to finish Malosi & Meresankh can go to the back of the queue unless a buff happens & they at least increase damage or better still get rid of the ‘dependant on other factor’ damage.
edit: Sorry about it being long. Didn’t realise I’d this much to gripe about !!

It’s sad that we’re here with this hero. I was very happy to get this hero. The cold reality is less compelling.

I hear ya !!! It’s typical that I always pull the 1 that is underwhelming !! Jade, Belladonna, Bennu to name but a few.

Being average mana, an increase in the initial damage to 300 would be fair since the reduction of mana to enemies that have not charged mana is useless

Is this topic going to be increased or is it already closed ?

Increase her damage or mana control!

Does anyone know if an improvement is expected? ?

No hints of an upgrade so far, which may be why we see so many of her in top 100 with duoble-LB. (A decent hero design, just needs a boost to the 130-250% output.)

She is a beast she don’t need to be touched
