Help me sort my 3* heroes

Hi,
I am Level 37, have some 4* heroes and very few 5*.
Now I am trying to sort out which 3* are useful for quests(, war) and tournaments, every place where only 3* are allowed.
I do not see any bonus in feeding away fully trained heroes, so these are keepers.
Poppy, Helo and Jahangir seem to be a good choice for certain uses, so I will level them somewhere in the future.
I am not sure about some others.

Gan Ju
Ulmer
Also, if anyone of the unleveled Yes-Candidates is a fail, I would like to know before training them.

Kvasir is a keeper and should be on top of your must max list. I use him almost at every 3* tournament.

You can feed Gato and Nash and Oberon.

Generally speaking, S1 heroes will become keepers once you summon their toon costume.

Keep Poppy. High variance, but can really clear out a field (sometimes).

I will keep Gato and Nash at least a while, because I used them in the last war of 3 kingdoms. That needs so many heroes and any trained hero is better than no hero.
I have Oberon as toon but I think this one (as Prisca) is not even a good toon.

Kvasir is high on my list but at the moment Waddles is higher prority for yellow and almost finished.

  1. If you play the hero, max ALL the costumes, the costume bonus is what´s important for your heroes, you won´t play all the versions, so you don´t need to LB the ones you don´t play, but you definitely need to max them.
  2. Use the toons! In 90% of cases the toons are the best version of the hero. And in 100% of cases the toon is better than the original. A few heroes have good other costumes.
  3. For 3 star events you need the C1 for Gunnar (obligatory for higher scores) and Ulmer (not obligatory but definitely a good option), while for rush tourneys you would probably choose the toons as with other heroes.
  4. It´s not a bad idea to have a healer in every color, so go for it. BTW Edelaide is a rather good one. Not a lot of fast healing around 3star world. And the Wu Kong buff is nasty, especially on a defense team. Helo is the best blue healer, Aderyn is one of two purple healers (doesn´t matter much which one you pick there)
  5. Kvasir is probably the best hero you haven´t maxed, but also Poppy is a top notch yellow, toon GanJu is also a decent choice. In green, Mnesseus is really useful to have, Featherino doesn´t look bad either. In blue Jarif is not especially good, put him on the bottom of your list. Toon Jahangir in red is a good one for rush. That should cover everybody.
