Help me prioritise! What should I level and ascend?

Hi,

I’ve been playing this game for a few months and I really enjoy. However, there is still so much to learn. I’ve at last started to receive some 4* star heroes to fill up my rooster. But now my problem is that I do not know what to level first. I’ve spent more money than I wanted already (grr you devs), so I’ll try to refrain a bit from spending over the next weeks. That means I’ll try to not buy mats etc even if it becomes possible.

My problem is therefore that I do not know what to prio. I just feel very lost at the moment. What do you think?

Right now, I have the following rooster:

As you see, my team is very heavy on the blues, but I still feel I lack a proper tank. I’m currently levelling Kiril to 360, but then I don’t know what to do. Should I ascend him to 470, or start on Boril? Or should I ascend Ariel to 3*70…? And what about my Magni?

I am also heavy on healers (which is good I guess). Ariel, Sabina, Melendor, Kiril and I just pulled a Rigard. I guess he and Ariel does the same kind of job. Would it be easier to level him up than Ariel? I only have Sabina and Rigard as purple 4*.

On the red side, I plan to max Wilbur, and then start either Sumitomo or Kelile to deepen the rooster. Yellow after Neith 260 I don’t know. A second Wu Kong or get her to 360? With greens, I am not sure. None of the unlevelled green 4* seems to be great (Gobbler, Skittleskull, Little John), but I was thinking Little John to begin with.

Do you guys have any opinions?

I always start with the 5 stars even if it means reaching them at 3/70 before I find materials…also consider your style of play do you like healers snipers debuggers buffers then level them up to compliment your style. that’s the fun but in this game

Welcome to the forums. I would advise you to check this link out for general advice:

Now to your specific issues.

  1. I’d ignore working on 5* heroes for now, unless they are close to reaching a stopping point. I’d be okay with taking Neith to 2.60, for example. I’d leave any 5* at a max of 2.60, and I’d not work on any you haven’t really gotten going yet, that means Magni for now. Pushing them aside for 3* and 4* will give you more options, and by exploring more heroes, you will figure out what you like.

  2. Being heavy on healers is the antithesis of a problem. You want to keep at least one of every healer hero you get.

  3. I think you’d be well served by organizing your teams so you have one team that is the heroes you are actively working on. I recommend that it be either your first team or your second team so they appear near the top.

  4. You have some not very good heroes. Karil ( the bald guy withbeard) and Renfeld aren’t very good. Sadly, Renfeld has been leveled - hang on to him for now, but Karil is food with that roster. Feed him to Kiril, and then the name issue disappears.

  5. You may be a little short on space for feeders. If you find it begins to annoy you, feel free to use some gems to buy space.

  6. I’d work on one of each color for now.

Yellow: Neith to 2.60, then Kailani to max, she’s good at trials and events. I see no need for a second Wu Kong - and I have a second one maxed. Maybe you end up needing him due to a lack of Yellows, but I doubt it. You can hold him for now.

Blue: Dwarves work. Kiril to 3.70, then Boril for me. Gato is pretty useful, and easy to max out, feel free to do him third.

Red: Definitely Wilbur, then Kellie or Rudolph.

Green: I’d get Melendor to 3.60. Then probably Muggy and Little John. |

Purple: Rigard to 3.60 first, then revisit after you finish that.

I’m sure others will have other opinions, but that’s what I’d recommend. I tend to try to plan 2-3 heroes per color out, but often, one ends up short of projects.

Stick to speed and special heroes. The post above mine has most all other details covered.

Thank you for all the help guys! I’ve been following this forum for a while before I became a member, and it seems to be a really good community here

Just one last question, should I also skip getting Ariel to 3.70? Her special is still only 5/8, but I still use her as a main healer as her mana boost is great (plus I have Triton).

The meat and potatoes are your 4* hero’s. Just like fighter jets speed wins. 5* get the biggest punch after they get their 4th chevron but the materials are REAL hard to come by even if you want spend real money. But a 3-70 attack 5* is almost equal to the 4-80, 4* and it take the same amount of material as the 4-70, 4*. I have found that defensive 5* need to be maxed out which agrees what others have written.

In the long run you will want at least one healer of each color.

Remember to be competitive in the 3* tourney you will need 2 heroes of each color, so do you research to hold those good.(there is a hero grading system)

I guess you’re right, thanks! Also I realise I should have saved some 3*. I lacked space and fed some that I maybe should have kept and focused on my new 4* instead. Ah well, I guess I’ll come by new ones eventually.

Ok the level you seam to be at.
Defense Triton, Caedmon, Boril, Wilbur, Sabina
Offence Triton, Caedmon, Hu Tao, Wilbur, Kiril
Titans Wu Kong, Wilbur, Triton, Balthazar, Neith
You have on your team a Titan must Wu Kong, 1 of the BEST healers in the game Ariel, Maybe the best 4* Wilbur, Fantastic snipers Magni, Triton, Nice tank Boril
Great team and GOOD LUCK

early on extra space is cheap but worth the investment
