Helo Frosty, Goodbye Frosty?

Oh, there is one (so far!!!). He is a 3 star version of Elizabeth, though slow and doesn’t deal direct damage. But he is paladin and may be a viable tank in rare raid tourneys. Don’t think he is useful in Challenge events if you aim for a better ranking.

His name is Vollermork, BTW. Currently working on him, feeding on-colored 1* feeders, still at the 2nd tier of ascension. And he starts battle with 20% mana as a passive skill akin to S4 heroes, 3rd and 4th generation HOTMs. But dayumm, he and Gramps are lazy on leveling their skills. Both on 2nd tier of ascension but still 3 and 2 out of 8 so far.

EDIT:

I forgot. Buy some roster space. You don’t need to buy gems using real money. At your current one, it should be cheap. I have a second account purely F2P and have bought roster spaces using free gems accumulated from various in-game sources.

noooooo! don’t feed away Frosty! :snowman_with_snow: he’s great! for trials, events and tournaments, and just because he’s fun. and looks so cranky. :slightly_smiling_face:

caveats: i don’t have Helo, who looks great, and i’ve spent a fair amount of gems on roster space which certainly the first several don’t cost much. i don’t do a lot of summons, but i do like to keep everything unique that i do get. and i have wanted to keep some dupes. multiple cRigards for war, e.g.

I’d say max both!

in 3* fights you don’t need cleanse in some cases, frosty will have extra minion heal and small damage.

i found frosty really useful in the last challenge event

I use HA9 for completleness mana troop 2nd and 3rd yellow mana. It does not requiere gems.
After that, I switch to HA10, other then that HA6 is must have for me, for gaining more 3* troop as feeder for high level troop plus as iron stock.

As for Frosty and Helo, IMO both are great, I already max 1x Forsty, and would level the 2nd, still keep the 2nd, but after getting Helo, maybe I would level Helo instead 2nd Frosty for variety.
The family bonus S4 is also intersting and it does have bonus even 1x hero.

I’m working to finish Helo now. I would use Helo exclusively as my blue healer, unless I’m using Kvasir for extra minions. They are both worthy.

If you have his costume, costume Tyrum is one of the best three stars out there.

What is it about that? Get Gramps finally to 4/8 on specials at 3/50 but in the same time, 2 x 4*'s and 1 x 5^ get to 8 on specials early in second ascension.

i’m sure there’s another thread for this, as it’s very off topic, but every 5 star i’ve levelled has always hit 8/8 before 2/60. yet almost every 3*, despite only doing on-color levelling for both, gets to 3/50 before hitting 8/8 on their special.

it’s a conspiracy! to make me waste on-color feeders.

and now, back to ‘don’t eat Frosty… both!’

I have both, Tyrum, hero & costume done, long back. Here, I have spoken about flexibility to cleanse with a healer & take a harder hitter instead of tyrum

I have 2 tyrum’s +costume leveled so he is an option for cleanse. However sometimes in tourney purple is not allowed, or if yellow is not allowed and opponent’s defense has stacked purple, then purple is weak. So it’s always good to have options for key skills like cleanse in various colors.

So I have to say keep both. They have different uses in the realm of 3s.

Helo is generally better for challenges, as you don’t really want minions, and a blue 3 star healer is really valuable for them.

Frosty is going to be incredibly valuable for 3 star bloody battle to counter Vollermark (especially if yellow is prohibited). Plus the fake healing from minions.

Which one is better in general? Depends on the opposing team. But I’d favor Frosty for the extra minion health. I’d also prefer Frosty on defense.

I bit the bullet and fed away my legendary S1 dupes. Have kept dupes of Hotm and non S1 in order to make room to keep a few more.

Thanks all.

Gato prevents status ailments, but can’t remove one that’s already there. Helo cleanses status ailments that are already there, but doesn’t do anything about new ones. Totally different skills.

Oh my lord, I was just having a closer look at the skills so Helo is a healer cleanser (of existing ailments) and Gato is a ailment prophylactic sniper? Either way, I dumped my second Helo and have used Gato (he’s lost multiple bros) maybe a handful of times. I guess they just don’t suit my game style? Now I’m stuck having to read 3* hero cards to see which can produce a status ailment? There aren’t even that many 3* dispellers? (I have around 50 maxed 3*'s. Zero idea what to do with some of them which are a little niche).

3* cleansers I know off the top of my head are Tyrum costume and Gill-Ra, but there are probably a couple more. Status ailments are defense down, attack down, fire, poison, etc.

3* dispellers (remove buffs from enemies) off the top of my head: Tyrum, Mnessus.

BTW, Gato is really useful sitting next to Chick Jr (or Squire Wabbit). If he goes off first, their self-debuff won’t be applied.

I checked out my roster (I do understand status ailments and buffs) and was surprised by the lack of dispellers (you forgot Belith) and the larger number that dish out status ailments. However…

Back to the topic. Keep Frosty and keep Helo OP.
