Did anyone try him together with ranvir? Against titans?
Kenji69666, i don’t really understand. I mean i also much prefer maxing 5*, but every now and then someone joins the club that is (almost) ad good as a 5 star. Thinking about Franz and Ferant and then i just take the 2 weeks it takes me to level them up and got myself a superstar.
I agree he is great but I am working on c Santa, c MN, Viscaro and Exeera ATM. I just can’t throw Franz in. But will level him as soon as I am over with those mentioned above. Or at least one of them
?? Ditch her and work on Franz.
Agreed. Unless Exeera gets a much needed buff, she’s Soul Exchange material.
Actually, Franz will help you more on titans than any of those. Even Santa.
Franz is more valuable than most 5*. I’d make him the priority.
It’s much quicker to level Franz and he’s so important in your Titan team you should make him a priority lol
Are you guys using franz on ALL your titan teams or just against Blue?
Been using him on all of them and working pretty well. It does hurt the color stack bonus on Purple/Yellow/Red Titans when I have to mix him with Miki and only get three strong colors. But Franz bonus seems to make up for it.
just tested and can confirm: Franz also increases reflect damage.
experiment: Valhalla 1.3H.
Mitsuko fired and cast blue reflect buff. blue boss fires special skill twice against Mitsuko and does 840 and 864 reflect damage to himself.
on a separate occasion (since he doesn’t have enough HP to conduct this experiment in one run), i made sure to hold Franz and Mitsuko until the boss so my autofarming wouldn’t screw this up. with blue reflect up and Franz’s damage increase debuff active on the enemy, the blue boss fires special skill against C. Rigard for 1202 damage to himself.
Well, the card does say ALL damage is increased by +50%, doesn’t it?

some people like/ prefer to have confirmation instead of leaving it up to assumptions. this is why some cards explicitly spell out that when a hero bypasses defensive buffs, it includes counterattacks.
-
even if you go back and think, “logically, that does make sense,” it’s still worthwhile to see it in action if it’s not something intuitive. another situation i’m thinking of is Ametrine/ Caitlin vs. Taunt heroes: the dispel happens first, so Taunt is gone and Ametrine (x2 or x3 charge) and Caitlin are able to do damage to multiple targets because of how their cards work.
-
while SG has done a lot to clean up card language, there’s always the possibility of gaps and other mistakes in the game coding. if it DIDN’T work this way, then we’d have to investigate whether it’s a bug or it’s intended; if it were the latter, then the card language would need to be updated somehow.
To me he is a 5 star in disguise, I limit broken first one, doing a duplicate now, his special is amazing ! I fire him, then Evelyn, followed by Quenelle 3 insta deaths over 2 k damage in raids ! Agree with the above about Titan play, really getting alot of use out of him !
This is my blue Titan team. I know some are at 3/70, but Franz is a mainstay in there. Use a couple mana pots to power some of them up and you have Ratotatskr altering tiles, Tarlak adding 100% to normal attack, and Fogg doing defense down against green. Add all damage increased by 50% from Franz and you’ve got one powerful team.
Is there a general consensus over the best talent grid path to take? I finally got one fully ascended.
Don’t know about consensus, but I took him as a support hero & went def path. Here’s mine:
Congrats on getting one ascended! He’s so good!
Thanks. I was leaning defense.
