I think with the new heroes coming out providing so many additional actions as well as damage the viability of the original slower heroes are decreasing. I believe the new slow heroes are having their specials more devastating to compensate.
Even in your example, none of those heroes are vanilla heroes to achieve that feat.
When building a defense, speed is far less important than special, health, and the defense stats. The position of the heroes also matters a lot.
Also, just because someone is in the upper ranks doesn’t mean his defense is great, it means he has a great offensive team. People that STAY in the top 100 are the ones to look at. A lot of people can get to #1 only to be raided down to gold tier because their defense can’t hold up.
Yes for sure, no def keeps you far above 2600 cups or even in top 100. I just take their defs as examples and often look up, if there are epics or strange setups, since Alby Gravey Guin Kage Alasie bores me meanwhile.
I’m just in the last final stages to complete Yunan (4/72 atm). And I’m glad I leveled him up. He’s very useful and in offense I can time his special right before Kunchen and Co will start.
The average ones are really my favorites: Grimm, Rigard, Richard to name some classic ones I surely use in every war.
Long time I was a fan of fast mana but than I realized how I can use the team synergy. Since than I’m leveling the cool ones! But still I have got a lack of slow heroes.
I dont have problem with average/slow heroes because I had to learn to play with them. Colen, Little John, Sabina were my first 4* and Isarnia, Azlar were my first 5*. So I had to play with what I had. Nowadays I have very fast like Kageburado, fast like Seshat and Kingston, but I play a lot with my slow heroes as well
I love how all of their eyes are a different color. I never noticed how yellow Inari’s eyes are and I have her maxed… lol. And this picture really makes the Hatter look sexy AF! MMM, he’s giving Tarlak and Alberich a run for their money!
