Sorry if this is duplicated.
A 1 star hero fully ascended requires 1 emblem per talent for a total of 20 emblems to reach talent 20.
3 4 and 5 stars are well documented.
What is it for 2 stars?

@Gryphonknight I read your thread below, but couldn’t quite piece together the Emblem costs from your notes.
Any chance you can give an explicit list of the node costs to answer @thrashina’s question?
Thanks!
Somewhere on my hard drive.
All I have right now is first 8 ( 2*+1 to 2*+8 )
2*+1-4=
3
2
2
3
2*+5-8=
2
2
3= 17 total x5= 85 Total
5= 22 total
1x rainbow 2*+7 = 85
2x rainbow 1*+19 ( 19 x 5 x2 ) = 190
= 275 Emblems
Thanks!
Looks like a pretty moderate amount, but still enough that you’d need at least a couple Class Trials of Emblems to max a 2*.
I’m not sure I can see investing in that for Tournaments.
I have edited the post
To compete in 1* / 2* Tourneys you want 1x rainbow 2*+7 team and 2x rainbow 1*+19 team ( total of fifteen heroes for color stacking) for a total of 275 emblems.
You get back all 275 emblems for 30g.
Thanks for the update - but I still don’t quite see the answer - you are expanding the question to include the number of emblems for a full team - but I’m just looking for the simple answer for a given hero - how many emblems does each talent level require. If someone can validate this table for 2 stars that is what I need.
I don’t have a maxed 2 star - but if anyone does they can hover over the 20 talent levels and see the cost. (I didn’t include food).
EMBLEMS REQUIRED | 1 Star | 2 Star | 3 Star | 4 Star | 5 Star |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Talent Level | |||||
1 | 1 | 3 | 14 | 30 | 65 |
2 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
3 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
4 | 1 | 3 | 14 | 30 | 65 |
5 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
6 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
7 | 1 | 3 | 14 | 30 | 65 |
8 | 1 | 5 | 17 | 40 | 125 |
9 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
10 | 1 | 5 | 17 | 40 | 125 |
11 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
12 | 1 | 3 | 14 | 30 | 65 |
13 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
14 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
15 | 1 | 3 | 14 | 30 | 65 |
16 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
17 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
18 | 1 | 2 | 7 | 15 | 50 |
19 | 1 | 5 | 17 | 40 | 125 |
20 | 1 | 10 | 35 | 70 | 250 |
TOTAL | 20 | 62 | 233 | 505 | 1500 |
This includes my guess for two stars based on the previous posts - I definitely do not know the Level 20 2 stars. But if someone checks this table I’ll update it.
In what context?
Now I feel sheepish.
Thought you were looking for totals.
Emphasis mine
Amounts per node are
4* cost= 2* cost
30=3
15=2
40=5
70=10
So node 19= 5 and node 20= 10

I get that you’re thinking to emblem them. But why? For fun? To add to a 3* raid tourney team? To fill out the last flags in war?
It’s all good. Sorry I wasn’t explicit. I don’t know which 2 stars are the best. Just curious on the costs…
Thanks for doing the chart.
Looking at it, 2* and 5* heroes make sense based on hero true levels, power, and 3x formula.
But 3* heroes are weird. They should be 168 or 186 total based on the 3x formula. Based on true levels I would expect 168 total.
The 233 total makes them the least cost effective use of emblems for all heroes. Especially because 3*+20 is roughly as powerful as a 4* 3.60 hero.
