I am not surprised by this decision.

The same business model decided to release costumes without a matching hero

With a single tweak, I think it would be more customer friendly.

Please include a copy of the matching base hero with each costume.

I pulled both Liannas and Quintus costume but do not currently have those heroes. Since I have the costume from the first pull, would I get the hero as well with the implementation of the update?

To increase the spending, only two costumes will be released this year, so you have to keep summoning in future years.

While Costume Chamber is less than ideal, at least it is not ONCE A YEAR

What happens next year in 2022 when you pull for Sir Rostley’s costume ( which you have from 2020 ) and get duplicate Killhare costumes when you need Sir Rostley costume

SGG needs to give use costumes for all event heroes at one

Token Compromise

I would prefer if costumes were handled differently, but you could include a costume token for each Springvale Hero without a costume that can be redeemed in 90 days for the costume ( art takes time to commission if you want quality )

Sir Rostley token that can be redeemed at Empire of Sands event for Sir Rostley’s costume

After you get Stronghold 13+, the game is less about balance and more about profits so it is deliberately super grindy
