This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the Tavern of Legends Portal changes

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Tavern of Legends Portal Changes

Classic Season 1 Heroes

  • Rare Classic Hero: 71.0%

  • Epic Classic Hero: 26.5%

  • Legendary Classic Hero: 0.9%

  • Legendary Past Hero of the Month (non Featured): 0.9 %*

    • Costume included if available.

  • Legendary Featured Hero of the Month and Costume: 1.0 %*

SECRET BONUS DRAW

  • Legendary Secret Hero: 0.1%

BONUS DRAW

  • Legendary Hero of the Month: 1.3%

Featured Heroes:

  • Satori
  • Two selectable heroes. (The same hero will not be selectable for both.)
  • Options (if you click on Tab to Change):
    • Seshat Hel + C, Evelyn Zeline + C, Musashi + C, Athena + C
    • Natalya + C, Silvaria, Yang Mai, Zulag
    • Glenda, Kara, Margaret, Skargremar
    • Viscaro, Vela, Onatel, Telluria
    • Tahir, Malicna, Miki, Devana

This is quite an interesting feature… meaning players can choose the combo based on their own needs? If so am hoping they can expand this into other portals.

If these are the options available, there are quite a few that stand out and others I hope no one takes.

Evelyn and Athena providing EDD.
Glenda for MT
Kara for taunt
Onatel for mana steal
Miki for titans
The other HOTM with costumes will have such a high stat bonus they can be valuable (although Seshat is much better than Mushasi and Natalya).

The rest I have a hard time imagining many are seeking.

Interesting development to drive more money into their bank. Way to go Zynga!

Only interested in C Seshat. If that’s all the combos, I may have to skip the next ToL

If it’s guaranteed, it would be like SE Plus : souls plus heaps of gems. :joy::rofl:

With a spinning wheel to determine the gem tax for the guarantee. Lowest fee would be 300 gems. Upwards … :thinking:

Interesting. I played a smilar game that allowed you to choose your own featured hero. It’s a nice idea. Can’t believe it’s taken them this long to test it.

I don’t anymore. Only played for a month or so. It was the really poor ripoff of Empires you can find in the store. But they did seem to be a bit ahead in features.

Imagine choosing your featured hero, and it still takes 100+ pulls to get your choice ;p

I played a game like that too. I like being able to stack the deck… But i have had zero luck from the legends portal… Zero.

Well done SG/Zynga/whatever!!

This feature will be great to have some extra summons at a death portal and to have that small extra % for heroes we really need.

I know right. Given the low odds, getting the preferred featured will still be a gamble. :joy::rofl:

It’s like me trying to fish out a soft toy from one of those arcade machines. Keep dumping in coins till I get the one I want. Then I went to check online shopping. I could buy that same softie for much cheaper. :joy::rofl:

Well the change sucks but only because i have hel and costume.

So I’m interested in having Hel C and Athena C, can I choose them to be my featured heroes ?

Try 3000. Theyd easily charge a 10 pull in gems
