This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the updated Legends Summon Portal.

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

Legends Summon Portal

The Legends Summon Portal is linked to the appearance of the Tavern of Legends Quest.

It features old Hero of the Months (including some costumes too) in addition to the trusty vanilla heroes.

The Legends Summon Portal (Currently) has the following Odds:

Classic Heroes

  • Rare Classic Hero: 71.0%
  • Epic Classic Hero: 26.5%
  • Legendary Classic Hero: 0.6%

Legendary Past Hero of the Month (non-featured): 0.9%

Legendary Featured Past Hero of the Month and Costume: 1.0%

Bonus Draw

  • Legendary Hero of the Month: 1.3%

Secret Bonus Draw

  • Legendary Secret Hero: 0.1%

Notes:

  • There are 3 Featured Hero of the Months and Costumes: Gravemaker, Alberich, Seshat
  • Only these heroes have costumes in the portal at the moment (so there is no Drake Fong, Alaise, Athena costume).
  • Staff confirmed that other costumes will be added in next Tavern of Legends events as Featured costumes while the previosly added costumes will be still available.

The costs of summoning are listed below

Single Summon:

  • 100x Legends Coins
  • 300x Gems

10x Summon:

  • 2600 Gems

30x Summon:

  • 7500 Gems

It is not stated, but I am 100% sure that yes as we have not received any new secret hero for testing.

Are the numbers in OP the new (beta) odds, or the old (in game) odds?

So no newcomers that are featured? That’s nice, have Alby and Seshat but wouldn’t mind pull them with costumes. Otherwise portal rates seem the same. Interested whether the quest will be longer and will give more coins (haha, right, SGG), because 5 days for 10 stages is a bit longish.

They are the new Beta Odds, but they are matching the odds in the live game too:

The only change is that the featured heroes are now comes with a costume too.

Beta Update:

  • Staff confirmed that we will have only 3 costumes in the first Tavern of Legends Quest’s Portal, and later new costumes will be added as Featured costumes while the old ones are still available.

Give me GM + Alby + Seshat combo that is in beta and I will buy the 30 pull offer during ToL.

So no change to the event itself besides 3 old hotm getting an costume. Most advanced players finish this in a day, do their 2 free pull, get their 3* dupes and move on… Been playing almost 2 years and ive never gotten anything higher then a 3*

The duration of this event is really strange. When it was mentioned that event will be tested in beta, that SG want to make it a bit bigger, with more stages or split between normal and hard. 4 days event for just 10 stages makes no sense.

My guess is, it means 4days of sales ( pulling at the portal) for SG, which should be significant in terms of their revenue and much less on how long it takes to play 10 stages!

I have similat luck. Maybe the best is a 4 star hero from this portal for me :smiley:

If they change offers then yes, but until now it was the same offer for the first 3 days and offer for 30 pulls on the last day.

Well…the same offer but now new contents ( costumes) are gradually being included to kindle some attentions…

Yes, but there were only 5 packs of 300 gems and 100 coins to buy for the first 3 days so I don’t think it will bring many more benefits to SG. So let’s see if they will change it

Still no new secret heroes? If they really want people to pull for TOL, there needs to be more secret heroes. I don’t think adding in costumes would be enough

Well…when it comes to getting gems for pulling, I am sure spenders accumulate gems from various sources including previous offers…and even the game shop…but my point is the more pulls the portal is able to generate within the period, the more revenue it’s able to accrue for SG. And I am sure they have their statistics and data, so they should know how best to apply it.
