🧪 Early information on the December 2024 HOTM -- Faeona [Part of The Beta Beat V72]

In actual gameplay, the healing boost skill isn’t particularly useful, especially on a slow hero. If it were truly effective, it would have been implemented on newer heroes by now.

They’re only adding this skill to her because she’s a Hero of the Month (HOTM) and is meant to be “weaker.” Skills like damage reduction, mana generation boost, defense buffs, or counterattacks would all be far more impactful.

I’m not trying to be overly critical, but having yet another yellow healer feels redundant—especially one that is slow and relies on firing multiple times to get faster. By the time she achieves any meaningful speed, the battle could already be over.

She might still be useful to a smaller group of players in specific events and Very Fast (VF) modes, but she definitely doesn’t feel like much of a Christmas gift. This is especially true considering the Christmas portal will become even more diluted with the addition of two very lackluster heroes.

Can someone explain the healing boost:
Is it the 2nd healing with the active healing boost make her healing is
A) 45 + 30 = 75%, or
B) 45 * 1.3 = 58.5% ?

Thanks advise.

If the answer is (A) then she can deal almost all fiends, except Ramona’s.

Not sure there is a hero that has the same heal and increase heal in the same skill. But if by order of operations, the increase heal wouldn’t even apply to the initial 45%, but other heal attempts after this initial heal. So

Got to remember that there are newer players who might need a yellow healer. She’s not horrible at that. I don’t find her too exciting, but there are players who would. Christmas is time that people seem to start playing.

Any word yet on December’s HotM? I have yet to make my Black Friday 10 pull as I’m waiting to see if waiting until tomorrow is the better choice in regards to a possible HotM draw. I haven’t seen anything yet, thanks in advance.

Thanks PFF, and this looks interesting healer though not that strong. Basically, this guy when it first cast special, it will give +15% immediate mana, plus +15% mana gen, so perhaps a bit faster than average, and will reach “fast” after. Compare to Chloris, this guy can be faster eventually, but lack other effects e.g. Chloris attack boost, but its +30% heal, actually make this guy a good pair with Chloris (or other over-healer) for a double healer team

Agree. I have about 10 5* healers and had a close look at all of them. None of them have decent stats and i certainly can’t afford to take them to 90. So she will make a welcome addittion. If i get her, she will be levelled just like Chloris.
