With all the beta opening and closing, are we any closer to a more definitive opening date of S3? Is there still hope for February or is March a lock?

I read it as… they moved up Atlantis to first week of month permanently so that the new S3 portal could take the third week. I’ll bet it’s in 2 weeks bud

I’m still predicting late April. I think a launch of S3 in late February would hurt Path of Valor, Pirates of Corellia, and Springvale because alot of players that have been aching for S3 with completions of all things Seasons 1 and 2, will pour almost all of their resources into Season 3 while those events are still going on.
While it is true a lot of people are saving gems for S3 already, it is also true, that presenting Pirates and Bunnies beforehand might still encourage spending on those events before Season 3 is launched. Late April is a good time for Season 3 to launch with three months of breakage between Springvale and The Sand Empire and only Fables of Grimforest and Guardians of Teltoc occurring between late April and the start of the summer seasonal event.
BUT…SG has surprised me before. I’m just throwing out my opinion from a completely business perspective. It’s certainly not gospel.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Masquerade event got scaled back to every other month and was probably canceled for April. Again, not gospel. Just opinions and predictions.

@zephyr1 if you throw in 3 big mana flasks at heimdall isn’t that always winning?
Wow, I am liking Mist as a 4*. Sounds great! Enemies immune to new buffs, -34 def against special skills for 3 turns, and -64 mana generation for three turns with 175% damage to target and nearby enemies as the miller lite on top? I’ll take her! Any potential changes notwithstanding of course.

@zephyr1 any word on how many legendary heroes will be available on a given month or will we see when we see?
It should launch with the following S3 legendaries per V27 update notes in the news section of forum (with Fenrir as the first featured if Beta portal holds true):

I’m in a bit of a pickle here. I can do one 10x pull. I’m not sure if I want costumes or s3.
I already have rigard, tibs and boldtusk costumes (and all of the 3 stars), so from costume chamber, I’m hoping for Melendor, and I guess sonya and Li xiu could be useful too? Of course the dream would be vivi and lianna.
Whereas for s3… Of course Heimdall/Fenrir/Tyr would be nice, but realistically, we’re looking at Nordri and… are there any other desirable 3 star and 4 star heroes? Cuz if it’s just Nordri, I’m leaning towards costume chamber.
For me, my priorities are
- challenge events
- AW
- Titans
- raid tournaments
For your priorities, my first question is whether you have Falcon and Jackal.

got jackal, no falcon, but teltoc is like 3 months away, we’ll see what we can do once we’re there
I’m curious if the entire gate changes. If even the 3s and 4s swap out every month. Statement really wasn’t clear and the answer will impact my spending.

Is the cost gonna be the same as Atlantis? Hopefully so, I can’t afford 400 gems per hero.
