🧪 Early Information on ROUND 5 Telluria & Vela Balance Updates [Part of The Beta Beat v30]

Don’t forget,

  1. Make a strong green Tank that is still utilized by players and alliances alike. Without making all other tanks extinct!

They sure are trying hard to figure out how to make all that power fit inside an average speed box

They did it wrong again

What changes would you like to see?

I was thinking that it won’t make a massive difference in many cases, as the cleanser could have recovered enough to clear the third round anyway. It’ll still be dead annoying to face. It was a feature I for one was prepared to give up, but then I haven’t run my Telly in more than a little light farming yet; people certainly had a point that it was a major part of her toolkit and probably should stay, albeit reduced. This sounds to me (a non-expert) like a reasonable compromise.

Re the HOT, it’s a bit higher per turn but again, over two turns it’s less likely to be dispelled, so you may in fact get more “full fat” heals from 306 over 2 than you would from 411 over 3.

As for the minions, they seem to have pretty much settled at 13%. I think this should be OK. The point is to hold up the opposing team, not shut them down permanently.

As for Vela, if Bubbles is saying she’s still too strong while everyone else is saying she’s been gutted, it’s probably about the right balance

I am tired of this.
This is ROUND 5 !!!
My love to this game is killing by every round gradually.

Small Giang should not have done it wrong at the very beginning.
We spent so much money to get Telluria and so much time to max her level.
Would SG give our money and time back?

Makes me laugh at everyone getting out their pitchforks and judging a hero without actually playing/testing her.

Let SG/Testers do their job and release her still usable as a tank.

I really hope the SG staff ignores most of the hot air flowing around in these threads.

When grazul tank with very fast mana heals only 15% and blocks the negative effects on 2 rounds is it great?

please, stop with these tests, put everything back as it was originally. #NONERF

If mana regen in this form is good, HoT is not so good, it is like 20% per 2 turns, she is not a healer anymore.

It seems that they found the main problem and are now trying to make it so that it does not have to be removed

Still top tank by far , 24% mana cut is still extremely challenging and hot is still good for def tank … vela is still a killer .

Rilian you still did not get that it wasn’t intended to make equally good in all 3 aspects tank, offense and CC. Her main use never was the healing and therefor should not be on par with full healers.

and yes … they have earned so much with telluria it can become a bin …

Yes,absolutely… Version5… how many versions of Telly are coming in the next 2 weeks? Just make a July hotm strong against her… So easy… moore benefits for SG and for all the players… Without Tellu like before will be not funny… Where will be the satisfaction to beat her? But this is just my opinion :upside_down_face:

If they will return minion HP to 18%, v5 is good form, but now she is also primary defensive hero (but offset GM’s DoT is good, v5 is better than v1, but on par with v4 for me).

Why they just dont relese new heroes?counter heroes?problem solved!

Costume rigard:

His HOt: over 600, this makes it double telluria’s, thats double the 5s healing In a 4…since it’s over 600, that means he can absorb extra damage caused by tiles/specials, the same way that telluria’s minions reduce damage. His 1 heal now provides the equivalent healing of telluria’s heal and minions.

His attack buff: creates MORE
Damage to the enemy team than telluria’s measly 130% to all enemies, both with tiles, counter attacks, and especially specials. his attack buff also makes a much bigger impact on offense where you can stack it with snipers to deal nearly 50% more damage.

More attack=higher likelihood of securing kills, more kills higher likelihood of defeating then enemy team.

In addition he removes ailments, so he also has a legitimate counter to cleanse the damage that telluria could only delay from the likes of jabber, Clarissa , vela, and GM. When it comes to
Dots. He doesn’t just slow down Their specials going off, he removes a large chunk of their damage all together. 2 more tile cost for a fast hero vs cancelling out damage completely.

There ya go, a 4* who is better than the current version.

I guess he doesn’t have an elemental link…ya…that’s worth the 400$ some players spent to summon for a completely different version of telluria, the elemental link…SGG stop this nonsense.

Thank you.

Maybe they are on to something with Telluria because I now want Beta Tester feedback/opinions about how she plays in this form. I could make a case for and against this build, two turns of mana cut seems short and will feel short when attacking. The additional heal per turn will allow her to survive more of the initial attacks.

Vela: Still too much IMO but part of her adjustment is synergies with any green tank and not just Telly (Heimdall will become more common as Valhalla carries on and Atomos may even be viable with Average mana). Will defer to Beta testers. At this level she is useful.
