🧪 Early Information on Round 1 of Special Guest Heroes [Part of The Beta Beat v75]

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the new Special Guest Heroes


Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.


:tophat: Special Guest Heroes

*There are a total of ten (10) new heroes added to Beta for testing; these have been indicated to be for the Secial Guest Quest.

*The names of the new heroes are unknown they are stated just like:
Legendary: Hero #1, #2, … #10

:hugs: Family Bonus

Test family:

Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.

Bonus for 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 Heroes:

  • +3% / +6% / +10% / +15% attack

Limitations for the heroes

  • The heroes are usable only in the Special Guest Quest.
  • They are not pullable, and at the start of the quest you get 5 of them (1-4 and 8) at full ascended state.
  • You are getting more Special Guest heroes at fully ascended state as a reward during your progression of the quest.
  • The heroes can not be limit broken.
  • The heroes can not have talents.

“They are not pullable”

So what is the purpose of this event?

Completely non-sense heroes with 2k Defense 2k Attack and 5K HP for an event that will only take more of our time

I guess this event is at a very early state of development, and this “not pullable” will be changed.
At its current state the event itself does not make any sense.

I guess we will see Staff’s plans in future Beta builds.

They could call them 6* heroes and not include the mats needed to level them in the game (or only available for $100 or so). Wouldn’t that be a funny joke?

I can only think that the event will have something new, maybe a new mechanic strangely enough that it can only be played with this… “Dummy” heroes for now. Sounds like an open beta for “something”.

If that was the case, I would be curiously excited to know more. But maybe I’m just overthinking it.

It looks like they want to test new, super high stats. This might be to check how the game would handle either new LB material or even faster power creep (sprint).

Worst possible thing would be 6* heroes. We are finally getting more * on titans, so why not on heroes? Unless they would have higher TP, and the TP limit wouldn’t be increased. Still a bad thing overall.

I’m guessing they’ll be heroes from puzzle combat, pullable like the secret heroes were last year

Probably a test of how heroes would behave and look after 3LB (aka game over).

Maybe there is a shortage of beta testers, and this is the way to “transfer” beta testing to live game?

Nope, I am not sure what is going on with this
So a little bit more about the event and the purpose would really help us in beta
Currently it feels like I only know 25% of the story - so not sure what you are looking for or expecting from feedback

Maybe one of them is Petri.

Petri won’t be weaker than a dragon like Krio.

Can confirm this… no response as of yet.

On first blush it sounds like a quest where we are all given the same heroes to use to see who comes out on top. Sort of like that old IROC auto racing series.
