đŸ§Ș Early Information on New Springvale Heroes & Springvale Family (formerly Easter Family) [Part of The Beta Beat V28]

The last line in " Putting That in Perspective" should read “100 summons”?

You’re right, I mixed and matched two numbers that didn’t go together when updating it — that’s fixed, thanks!

After thinking about it, I think Lady Woolerton’s negative effect is fairly well balanced with a fast mana healer. Most of the time on offense I don’t notice when Danza snowflakes. You’ve used up most of the yellow tiles to get their special off anyway, it might take a couple turns to really get them mana’d up again. And on defense it makes a corner healer viable (bronze-platinum tiers at least). If a corner special goes off twice it’s an overly long match already.

The real bummer is no dispel or cleanse like some of the other 4* healers.

Obviously Mr. Noble Cavalier (Rigard) shoudlve been yellow from day 1.

Hey @zephyr1, just to make sure, even if you fire at the flank position, if all 5 heroes are up, it will continue to chain between all heroes? The chain is only broken if there is a gap (hero down)? Or I am not interpreting correctly. If correct, AoE (in most cases) at 280% with an attack stat of 778 will be great and probably be the highest amongst all available heroes (however no secondary skill, even a negative one, will probably make this hero not popular)

Yes, that’s correct.

What matters is that there are adjacent enemies without a gap, so in a Raid where all enemies remain, any target will cascade to the others.

The only thing I’m not sure about is what happens in the case of a dodge/miss — other chaining hitters stop in cases like that, which may be how Sir Roostley works too. I haven’t had an opportunity to test that yet.

I still believe he is holy.

I feel like that 4 star healer drawback should be “Caster is silenced for 4 turns” (or maybe 5) instead of can’t gain mana.

No they cant be overwritten by anything once they are on.

For example, square rabbit gets -20% defense. Other defense buffs can’t undo it or even be active along with it.
Same with negative defense drops from enemies, they can’t override it!

What happen in the case of adjacent enemies with counterattacks on.?

He can be. Just ask Chameleon or Norns to make him Holy;)

I am looking forward to trying to get the four star holy healer even with the negative side effect.

It is just a question of knowing what heroes will help to mitigate the negative part of the special (eg. JF flipping the defence down to defence up and others mentioned above).

I like this aspect of working out the teams. Not every hero can be a powerhouse that wipes out everyone in its path, and imagine how boring it would be if they were. The negative sides and learning how to counter them when using these heroes is fun.

Now all I need to do is pull that healer when the event comes round.

I would expect it’d work the same as any AoE or chain hitter, and he’d take damage when hitting targets with counterattack.

I thought so too

You guys think we can expect Springvale to start before Path of Valor ends? I collected Epic Tokens for Springvale and was going to use it for the Portal Challenge :frowning:

My guess is Springvale will be during the next Path of Valor, not this one.

Yes, Manashield can stop her negative effect. Which I find pretty funny.

Indeed, unfortunately Killhare is pretty bad right now.

Comparing Master Lepus to Thorne, there’s both a speed and power gap to justify the drawback. I imagined that Killhare is the same thing to Quintus, but at the same speed, it makes no sense to even use her over Quintus (let alone if you have his costume, which can make him faster to charge than Killhare with no drawback).

Best way I can think of Killhare being worth the drawback, is to make her average speed instead

Mok-Arr silently cries shark tears in the corner

Lol the thing is Killhare is much worse than Mok-Arr right now

When it comes to their drawbacks, I’ll take the puny damage to my non-dark allies over an undispellable defense ailment to all allies.

Damage wise, Killhare hits everything harder except yellow, which Mok-Arr hits harder. But she’s slow
 and Mok is average.

Hero Damage before modifiers
Mok-Arr (blue, red, green) 1852.5
Quintus (costume equipped) 1889.4
Quintus (default, no costume) 2016.9
Quintus (default, costume maxed) 2117.75
Killhare 2,223
Mok-Arr (yellow) 2593.5

The only advantage she has over Mok-Arr is that she hits dark enemies, which I don’t think is justifiable enough to be worth her drawback (unless you have Jean to combine her with
)

Both quintus and Mok-Arr are some of the worst heroes on the game and are equal or verter than Killhare.

I’m not asking for an A grade Hero but, at least, something that could be used. I’m the other Hans, I find Killhare a bit boring. It “only” does plain dmg. Nothing else.
