🧪 Early Information on New "Night of the Moth" Alliance Quest [Part of The Beta Beat V73]

This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the new “Night of the Moths” Alliance Quest

Don’t get too attached

Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.

It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.

So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

New Moth Heroes

A new event = new heroes…

:superhero: Moth heores in Alliance Quests

As with the Clash of Knight heroes, the event heroes in the current event have a bonus when they are used in the Night of the Moth Alliance Quest.

Some Notes:

  • This bonus ONLY applies to Moth Family Heroes IN the Night of the Moth Event.
  • It is NOT limited to Unique heroes only… Any and all Moth heroes gain the bonus stat boost.

Alliance Quest Rules

:money_mouth_face: Rewards

  • Night of the Moth has same rewarding system.
The scores for all tiers are adding up into a single number, and you receive the loot based on your individual tier and the tier where your alliance’s combined score is in.

Instead of instant Tier Completion Rewards you can open a chest after you open the Tier.
The chest rewards are similar to Clash of Knights.

Here are the chest rewards:

  1. Chest:
  • 2x Alliance Quest Coin + three misc items
  1. Chest:
  • 3x Alliance Quest Coin + three misc items
  1. Chest:
  • 5x Alliance Quest Coin + three misc items

Unlike Clash of Knights once you finish a tier the next tier will not be automatically opened.

Summoning odds, and Event Info, mentions Brave Musketeers.

Thx, It seems I those are left in there. I have just replaced them.

It takes a village. Or something like that.

Like finally a new family that actually has it’s own event and not just a cash grab portal exclusive family. Cough…slime, fox, Woodland faun…cough

So this “new” alliance quest has litearlly the exact same mechanics as every single other alliance quest (or challenge event)? 3 iers, rare/epic/legendary, complete al the stages to unlock the next blah blah blah

literally whats the point? Why cant they make something a bit different/interesting rather than just reskinning the same event over and over again

Yeah, a bit disappointed as well @nodrog . A little extra imagination isn’t asking so much. Even if Stage 10 was changed to be similar to the boss fights at the end of Seasons 4/5, that would be fun. Or a very hard raid stage against the bosses like the Covenant Quest.

I’m happy we don’t have another new coin/token for this event. we can use those previously earned Alliance tokens!

Hey guys )
Has anyone tried to use C.Gunnar against mobs and bosses?
Does they have a dodge passive and does it activate against damage sharing?

My guess is that C.Gunnar should work as usual against both mobs and bosses, but I’d like to be sure )

I have used him, and I do not recall that the damage sharing and defense down was ever dodged.
