SG is so greedy, no free flask this time
so if we fail just once we cant complete the tower, nice !!!
last time i failed onced coz of server error, guess they will again kick players out at least once to force them buy flask
I find it really difficult to even want to play the tower. There is bugger all benefit for so much grinding, you need to complete 2 towers to get enough coins for a single summon, and the Oni Stones. Microtransactions seem to be the only way to make any true progress with the tower.
OH, and I absolutely despise the Oni Stones. If weâre gonna be grinding then like that then strategy should 100% be within our control. You get a couple of crappy boards and you have suddenly lost your best players and wasted time and energy because you canât even attempt getting to the end anymore.
If they want to make it challenging they could bring in the team power, single use heroes clause from the Legendsâ Tavern, or find something strategy based that does not rely on probability in such a horrible fashion.
If you make the right choices you should be able to get somewhere. I see none of this with the tower.
Increase the coins rewarded per floor or decrease the requirements. This is insane as it currently is.
I donât know what else could be done, but those Oni Stones mean that I play the first 5 floors, 10 if I feel particularly tenacious.
If you finish the tower, then you could have a free pull in the first event too.
Now tower chests added, which gives you extra emblems, coins and other itemsâŚ
As there are 10 coins in the first chest I suppose you probably now you can do two free pulls if this coin amount will increase on higher levelsâŚ
Except I canât stand to play it. Not only do they throw the play conditions at us with the first 5 challenges they add the stones, which I already hate. Even with these chests, the first doesnât appear until level 10. Which as you can see, I wonât play beyond. These chests really arenât any incentive for this amount of grind. Considering the chests will likely be randomized anyway.
There simply isnât enough incentive for someone who has maybe 15-20 minutes per day to play to do everything else and even bother trying the tower.
And this fact creates a void where only P2W players can really benefit. It creates a dangerous precedent in a game, where, before now you could actually get somewhere as F2P.
Letâs be honest here: it is an event for the players with really big roasters⌠that means a great level player and a spender⌠that thing with oni curse it is really no need to be in game⌠that rule just diminished the number of players that can end this event in time⌠crapâŚ
This event is for players with big rosters so they can break the routine and get the dust off some of their heroes and finally feel at least once every two months that spending resources and money on pulling and maxing them was not a complete waste.
I have 170 maxed or 3.70 heroes. Still wonât use many of them during the Ninja tower but at least instead of playing with those 40 I always play with, maybe I will use like 80 on this event.
This is kind of event that can serve as a benchmark for your development. Make it a goal of your game to be able to finish it some day. Kind of ultimate challenge in PVM battles. If you donât like the grind or your playstyle is â20 mins per dayâ then just skip it - as you said, rewards are pretty meh so it is not obligatory like the class or rare quests.
Last time, people were claiming that the right way to do this was to just start out with good heroes. But the curses fall too fast for that. Iâve lost Gullinbursti and have two others with a curse already. And it eats SO much time⌠But Iâll still do it, as far as I can. Just not going to waste a lot of items.
Have they turned down the curses ? Iâve played till level 10 and I feel the curses showed up less than the previous tower. Or will the appearance of curses ramped up in the upper echelon ?
Once every two months is still better than âneverâ. But I agree it is not enough - which is why many high level players are quitting this game, or at least limit their time and spendings. People are generally more attached to their alliances & stuff like titans, wars etc. than the PVM gameplay. But mostly because PVM gameplay is so dull when element of challenge is missing.
Yeah, I mostly play for titans and wars. Quests like Ninja Tower do not appeal to me because the rewards are not worth the time and effort. Clearly it was intended for players who have already gotten enough âstuffâ and are just looking for more challenge.
Players who want more challenge are not going to be satisfied with a once every two months event.
Players who want more loot are not going to bother with a difficult event that doesnât yield much in rewards.
Just seems to me like the gaps continue to widen between players, and these attempts to âmeet everyone in the middleâ are not particularly appeasing any party.
Take a feature like Ninja Tower:
Fun challenge for players with top rosters, but donât happen often enough.
Pain in the butt with little rewards to make it worth it for players like me in the middle.
Impossible for players below me.
I was actually able to complete Tavern personally, twice.
Again, for me unfortunately, the rewards were not worth, so I probably wonât bother a third time.
Ninja Tower is even more levels for, according to all that Iâve read, even less reward. Seems like it was strictly designed with full blown âend gameâ players in mind.
