special-boost Special Boost At the start of each turn, this Hero’s Special Skill deals an additional +30% damage for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

60% chance to perform the following actions when this character casts their Special Skill
* Deals 70% damage to all enemies.
* All enemies get -24% mana generation for 3 turns.
:hourglass: Ability: Extra Chance for Effects on Special Skill
When this character casts their Special Skill, any of their Passive Skills that grant extra effects on cast have 3 chances to activate.
:no_entry_sign: Resist: Resist: Resist Sand Damage
This character has innate resistance against sand damage.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Scarab Blitz
  • Deals 265% damage to the target and nearby enemies.
  • Summons a Scarab Bomb Fiend for the target and nearby enemies. The Fiend damages the enemy with 38% attack every turn.
  • The Scarab Bomb Fiend absorbs healing and disappears when it has absorbed health equal to 30% of its owner’s max health.
  • The Scarab Bomb Fiend explodes after 3 turns, dealing 900 damage to its target and minor damage to nearby enemies.

Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.

Moon Family

Bonus for 1 / 2 Heroes:

  • 50% / 75% chance to make a cast -24% defense for 2 turns and X Water damage over 2 turns on an enemy who deals Special Skill damage to this character.
  • If the enemy’s Special Skill defeats this character, the chance is 75% / 100%
    (X = 196 for Legendary Heroes, 142 for Epic Heroes, 114 for Rare Heroes)

This seems pretty strong actually – the game is slower than when the original was released, and the -24% mana gen is a nice bonus. It will be one of the best S5 heroes I think.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: How do you play this game in slow mode. I wish I had that option in my Raid and War. Many times I couldn’t even get 3 match of 3 tiles (9 tiles fast hero to fire), the opponent already destroyed my team, if this is slow now how much faster was back in the days?

Legendary troops mean everyone has +40% health compared to what they used to have, and the (mega-) minion meta makes things more grindy on top too

I have always loved my Khepri, but find myself never using him anymore, except for things where I need more of my older heroes, such as W3k. I would personally love this costume, but i won’t be buying any pulls.

I always love to pair khepri with Ludwig, it’s marvellous.

I like the new look he’s sporting…fan of shiny purple things :wink:
I tried for him or el nadda but when … the first pull was elkenan … I knew I was doomed in this portal :rofl: maybe next time.

If you compare him to IGAs second charge you can see that even this quite significant buff probably isn’t enough to make him relevant again. Which is a shame because he looks super cool.

Yeah, wtf, I was looking at his max preview attack stat and it’s only 1470. All the new heroes (Knightus, Anteros, moth family) are pushing 1800 attack already…seems like the S5 costumes are overdue for a balance adjustment.

They’re about 20% behind the meta already. This power creep is too much, Khepri is still technically a brand new hero.

Yep, S5 and Wo3K have Power levels of about 1450.

While the newest Heroes are soon at 1550.

Why would you pull for Heroes that have Stats far below the newest Heroes of Others Portals?

Makes not much Sense to me…
