fiend-resist Fiend Resist At the start of each battle, this Hero is immune to new Fiends for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.

60% chance to perform the following actions when this character casts their Special Skill
* Deals 70% damage to all enemies.
* All enemies get -24% mana generation for 3 turns.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Scarab Bombardement
  • Deals 275% damage to target and nearby enemies.
  • Summons a Bomb Scarab fiend for the target and nearby enemies. The Fiend damages its target with 38% attack every turn.
  • The Bomb Scarab Fiend absorbs healing. It disappears after absorbing a healing amount equal to 30% of its target’s max health.
  • The Bomb Scarab Fiend explodes after 3 turns, dealing 600 damage to its target and minor damage to nearby enemies.

Bonus for 1 /2 Heroes:

  • 50% / 75% chance to make a cast -24% defense for 2 turns and 196 Water damage over 2 turns on an enemy who deals Special Skill damage to this character.
  • If the enemy’s Special Skill defeats this character, the chance is 75% / 100%

Oh wait, does the fiend explode even if the target is killed prematurely? I don’t even have scoratek to test this out.

Because S5 is a cash grab season. There’s no too groundbreaking mechanics introduced

Nope if the target is killed then the fiend on that target disappears too and won’t explode.

Best hero so far is El Naddaha which has the best secondary skil in long time and Azmia whom they nerfed in few days after her first appearance .

Say the middle 3 heroes all take a scarab fiend and they explode for 300 damage each. It says nearby take minor damage, so will the middle heroes take 150 twice (one from each flank) on top off the 300? And the flanks and wings would also take 150 each if all are alive.

So under the most ideal circumstances: 275% damage to 3, fiends do 38% damage for 3 turns (to 3), then explode for 1800 across all heroes. It seems like a decent amount of damage, but you’re likely not going to get it all.

Think that is the main use as you try to kill the tank, but the flanks still stay alive in time for fiends to explode which can hurt both wings. Seems like he needs a lot of control and is definitely not a defensive hero, but I wouldn’t mulch him if I got him.

Because SG don’t want our money :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: . I will pass this portal and this month, and if the most heroes in S5 it’s like this I will make only free pools, it’s not worth to get after 3 featured heroes and 2 of them to be trash.

The family bonuses and passive abilities may not be enough to wet Big $pender appetites thus far.

But holy cow is the framework laid out to do just that when the time comes! I think it makes brilliant financial sense to dilute the odds with placebos first.
But this looks to me to cure some small fish woes should they pull it.

Khepri is going to be a hero that players are going to wish they had gotten. Even though some are goingnoff of inital impressions, Khepri is underrated. Max bomb damage those fiends can do is 1800. He can make things a bit tricky, particularly in bloody battle tournaments.

I’m sure he’s fairly solid, but the problem is the damage is delayed, and anything that doesn’t happen at fast or average speed has the risk of being too little, too late. The same reason you don’t bring slow heroes to raids… most of the time the fast heroes will obliterate you before the slow hero even goes off.

When three 9-tile heroes will destroy 60% of your entire team (e.g. Morel - Quintin - C. Lepus, or Zekena - C. Leonidas - Faline), backloaded damage or slow heroes just can’t compete.

Not interested in this hero. Not interested in most of the S5 heroes, to be honest. The best thing about them is that 60% chance to apply -24% mana reduction to all enemies when firing a special… that’s deadly. But special wise, other than El Naddeda (?) or that fast purple sniper, they are nothing unique.

Not true. El Naddaha, Sobek, Khonsu are all tier 1. Horus and Khufu are good. Only 2/7 are “bad” and even then not that bad. It is unfortunate 2 of the 3 featured are “bad”

I think… The heroes are designed to be good… But the passives make them great… But just reading half of the card is why we are not valuing them appropriately.

Also… This guy will dominate in towers. Because the time the special is active goes down, all the bombs will go off in one turn.
