C2 Elkanen Mana Node or Crit Node

Hi All,

Looking for advice on My C2 Elkanen currently emblemed attack. Normally I just default to Mana node for most Heroes, however I am thinking Crit node might be more beneficial. I currently have Magic troops lvl 17 that grant 14% mana regen, that along with his 5% bonus he gets puts me over his 15% break point. The next break point for fast heroes is 34% seems next to impossible to hit. Even if I was to take the mana node 2%, fully upgrade my troops 20%, bonus costume mana 5%, and throw a bard in there 5% that is still only 32% which is under the next break point. Whereas with a hit all ability firing at fast speed the extra Crit although small may trigger often and have more of an impact.

Anyone agree or disagree with my analysis. All thoughts would be appreciated!

Maybe you’ll play him with another Heroes which could give him a small quantity of mana, or +x% mana génération, or whatever doesn’t exist yet…

I Always take thé mana node, because there IS so many différent way to get mana or mana generation. Si it’s impossible to be sure that in some case you won’t regret it…

And the crit node IS only 2%…

doesn’t really matter either way.

i went mana. if i used him in event or titan teams, maybe i’d give more consideration to crit but with more costumes coming out, more mana stuff comes out all the time it seems, plus 5* troops that don’t offer a mana bonus as far as we know, plus helps against mana ailments that reduce mana speed, etc etc mana just seems like the better choice over crit pretty much always.

i always take the mana node unless the other choice is an actual stat increase such as att/def/health or the mana node is 20th node then i skip mana node completely unless the hero is going in defense team.

A fully upgraded Elkanen will most likely survive until there are 2-3 heroes left on the field and when you throw a tile into the void, these 2% will be very necessary. And the critical hit node gives only a 2-4% chance of inflicting it.

No matter what, if you see a crit or healing node, go the other way!

Mana % is useful only when you can achieve the required percentage for a faster speed by tile. You’re correct.

Critical % is adding possiblity to tile damage. You’re correct too.

To me i rather to add emblem to a possibility than no effect.

Btw, mana node may be useful while your troop has achieved mana +13%.

lol I will adopt that philosophy!
