Best 4* team?

Who do you think makes up the best 4* team?

I think I’d go with Gormek, Caedmon, Li Xui, Kiril, and Rigard.

Is there someone else you’d prefer? Hard to keep Boldtusk and Sonya and Little John off the list—I don’t think I’d argue with swappin any of them out.

This is for questing or raiding or for a generalized event (assuming no color reflection). Obviously not for titans.

I use BoldTusk and LiXiu for sure. The others are subject to swapping.

I like Gormek as a tank and Caedmon is one of my favorites (still don’t have him, darn it!)

I see Caedmon mentioned all the time as one of the best 4* cards but not Sonya. Is there some reason for this?

Personal choice? Good point!

For me, its Boldtusk, Grimm, Wukong, Rigard, and Caedmon.
Attack buffs, remove buffs. Reduce armour.

The other green 4 stars are poop for attacking raids and titans, which makes Caedmon more desireable. Melendor is good as debuffer/healer (and has a strong attack rating for someone like that). Blue has Grimm - Ramming Pulverizer is a fantastic skill and only 3 people have it (not counting Athena). Sonya is a nice pull, it’s just the Silver Fox is generally more regarded because of the other 4 star greens.

Sopclod was pointing out that Caedmon and Sonya have exactly the same skill. They differ slightly in ATK/DEF/HP.

Right…and the follow-up he was asking is why people rate Caedmon higher than Sonya, when they are very similar, which is what I was trying to explain - there’s a better (or least just as good) 4 star Blue in Grimm, but not really in Green.

How are the reflects, those with the “perfect riposte” special, in titan battles? Are Boril and Cyprian decent, or is it decidedly better to go with a Sonya or a Grimm or a Tibertus, offensive-type against titans?

If I had to choose only one, I would go for armor debuff every day.

That being said, Boril and Cyprian arent terrible on titans or as raid offence.
Just place them smart and pop it when titan isnt stunned or before enemy specials.

Guess we need to add Jackal on the list, for the lucky ones who have it.

I have Sonya but not Caedmon and it makes me feel inadequate. I figured it had more to do with the “competition” within that color. I’m happy with Sonya either way, especially as a player that spends very little.

I’m still playing around with Cyprian and LiXiu; if LiXiu dials back mana, Titan might not let fly with special, and Cyprian will be reflecting less. Hmm…

I’m a player who does spend some, though not as much as many others, and I’d be happy with Sonya too! I have (as of today) Tier 4 Grimm (and 2nd level 1 Grimm) and I’d still take her. She’d definitely be my Red titan/red tank 2nd Blue for sure. She’s a great hero.

i spent a little bit on the game and i currently have:
skittleskull, boldtusk, boril, rigard, and hu tao.
i’m pretty happy with all but hu tao, but as the RNG gods have been hosing me left and right lately, he’s still there. what i really am missing is a good single target burst damage player.
boril’s ability is hit or miss. sometimes it is useless and other times it ruins other teams in raids, comically so.

I have both Sonya and Cademon at level 70. I prefer Sonya because Cademon is everyone’s dedicated target so he dies first. Will be replacing him with Alberich as soon as I get him leveled up.

you’ll find there are generally stronger blue choices (i.e. kasshrek and skittle are meh. LJ isn’t a great offensive raider either) across the 4 stars, so Caed is the best of the 4 star green lot whereas Blue has Grimm and Boril (Kiril is fine too). That said, the red heroes are better than green, so more strong heroes vs green floating around that greens vs blue.

Gotta put Jackal in there. I have two of em. One tier 4 and one I will level soon. Love it. Hold that special until you hit a yellow-ish board and unleash hell.

Don’t sleep on Hu Tao. In a razor thin raid, being able to get one special skill to miss is a massive advantage.
