I can change Wilbur spot, but option are limited. Kiril 2.30; Hansel 2.11; unleveled Little John and unleveled Gormek.

Had a similar idea as you, even had Grimm in the left corner at one point but I feel like with blind being prominent and no cleanse hero in the tournament, Boril will probably be a big strategy on attack so I wanted a dispeller in the corner

I have them at 1.25…
You will stack blue but then you will kill the tank but blue weak against green and yellow
I can make Wu as tank and maybe flank with Wilbur and bt
Or Wilbur and jackal
Settled on that. Hoping the center buys enough time for the wings to fire. Went with bt over kiril due to emblems.

High risk, high reward. If you do that, I’d pair him with AoE hitters like Li Xiu, Hu Tao, Colen, or Little John. That way they’re more likely to hit at least some targets.
But you have to keep in mind that Very Fast dispelling, attack debuffing, blinding, and Riposte may be attacking you. Those can all be effective counters to Wu. Plus he can cause a miss that saves an attacker.
I’m not a big fan of Wilbur on Defense in most situations. I think the Spirit Link on Defense could be a liability here, and giving it to an attacker who has a Very Fast Kiril to overwrite the defense debuff means you just handed them a giant advantage.

Fast Mana is all about firing first. Support and set ups, imo, don’t have time to really work like people think, so I’m going with the following:
Grimm-John-Li-Hu-Caed (though I am debating BT but am hesitant because he could be a tile sink)
Can it be beat? Sure. Anything can be beat. But on a bad board, this group is going to be an issue for attackers.
And if I’m wrong? Well, last time we had fast Mana 4*, I tried the Boldtusks and Boril tanks of the world and got hammered on defense, so might as well try something else.

Please help me decide, do I go with lixiu and jackal+14 in the below defense?
I’ll get falcon to +17 once I get the ham/iron.
FWIW, Li xiu seems more useful to me in this thing than Scarlet; Jackal would be good if you had a pile of yellow in there, but you don’t at this point.
I’m thinking to go with…
