Yeah I think Oceanus is a beast, he’s like a beefed up Tarlak that also does damage and has a higher attack buff, not to mention he automatically has higher def because of his family bonus.
If you click on the tool icon on the far right, there should be a option to build poll. Let me know if you can’t find it, I’ll build one for you
Oh and I do think C. Ariel is slightly better than Aino, but I guess I voted Aino as I always prefer a bit of variety so that was more personal preference over practicality lol.
I’m good, thank you my friend. I hope you are too! From reading your reply and rereading your OP, it sounds like you’ve already made your choice without knowing it.
Go with your guts, pick c Ariel, and don’t look back. You need a healer, have a preference for overheal, and already know how good she is. There’s no possible way you’ll regret your choice the way I see it.
@NicoX did gazelle immediately, that was my gut and yes, conformation just put me over the edge. Then I pulled kullervo after I used my darts lol. Thankfully I had something to get I’m maxed. So at this point I’m going to take my time, see if I pull anyone else. If I don’t have enough emblems, I have to wait. I went full def/hp for gazelle and a mixed approach with kullervo. I may be regretting that, I have to play with him a bit more, I know some people want him to sue I e to fire as much as possible and that was my thought as well. Let’s see!
That said, I do think Louhi will be next. Even though he’s average and didn’t meet the speed requirement per day, his dispell att first is just such a powerful skill, I think I landed on him ulimatey and I have 4K monk emblems so it’s almost a no brainer. I’m still considering Aino but not 100% sold yet. I’m always in a position of doing what’s best for my roster and who I think will be most fun to use. I try to pick what I need and that’s why these responses help, they push me to think about things you guys mention that I just don’t think about. Thank you!
You included troops in the cropped pictures for a question that had nothing to do with them. That was done consciously for a reason and the only reason I know of is to show off (brag). It may be a humble brag, but still a brag. Not trying to be an @$$, but you did say:
So I’m just explaining how I came to that conclusion from looking at a few pictures.
No offense at all intended, I’d brag with those troops and 25 top tier heroes if I had them.
@natefrog You’re making a decision about me based on a picture without actually knowing the type of person I am. So yeah, if you want to believe this delusional story you’ve made up about me based on literally zero facts, I’m happy to have helped Go ahead, keep doubling down on your own stupidity, cheers!
so it looks like you’ve already made some decisions day late and dollar short for my input, but here are my two cents anyway.
i first pulled Delilah from Tavern of Legends in August of 2021. everyone likes to trash her because other minion makers have come on the scene with bigger minions and other healers and overhealers have come into the game . . . look, my roster is desperate for healers, so yes, i’m a bit biased, but 46% (give or take) HP topping off will always be useful to me, and i have few minion summoners anyway. currently have her at +12, and she’d be higher if i didn’t pull C. Guardian Panther.
i think Kara’s resistance to defense down ailments is underplayed. basically, if she has her Taunt up, Morel, Frigg, etc. will barely be able to scratch her.
considering you’ve mentioned raid and war as priority, a lot of your red options are great titan heroes too.
imo, can’t go wrong with any of your blue options. i think “cleanse first” has more utility on a hero like Prof. Lidenbrock, who actually provides a buff that could be blocked by buff immunity, but i also run into a good number of Penolites that reduce healing, so “cleanse first” is high priority for me. wish i could have pulled Aino.
i’m absolutely hurting for Druid emblems, so my Alberich is only +7, but i think he’ll always be worth the materials and a viable resurrection hero. Heimdall trades revive percentage chance for a high HP recovery; MN is the opposite end of that spectrum, and Alberich is the middle ground. however, the mana buff is unique to him among the three, so on both revived allies and already-alive allies, you’ll get the same passive mana gain buff that a C. Ariel would provide. the mana gain buff is why, in a different era of the game, Alby was actually a tank option because some people argued that the mana gain was more relevant than the resurrection. (i think it was Lion Roar i learned this piece of E&P history from?)
yes, priority dispel from Louhi is great for the same reason it’s great on Kage, x5 haha. but Agrafena. yes, Magic x2 is slow, but there are two things i want to point out:
something to note about any charge hero is that they’re more resilient against mana cuts, especially the Vanaheim heroes. if they’re already on charge 1 and are halfway to charge 2, mana cut literally doesn’t matter. you can still fire a useful special skill because of the extra mana fill.
i use Agra with Sergei to create a massive tile damage team. Sergei, Vanda, Agrafena, Delilah, Chakkoszrot. get enough dark tiles, and i get insane buffs and can do a thousand damage from single tiles with Sergei’s and Agrafena’s attack buffs stacking. it’s basically my anti-dodge/ anti-Taunt team because, for the most part, special skill damage isn’t the point of this team.
end wall of text
ETA: one more thing i forgot about Agrafena. yes, Magic x1 on her is pretty weak as an ailment. however, it’s pretty useful to reverse attack and/ or defense buffs if you don’t have a dispel handy. i can’t think of another hero that does both attack and defense down outside of C. Kiril and both forms of Santa Claus.
You also don’t know anything about the type of person I am, but jump straight to insulting me because I pointed out something you don’t like. You said you don’t know how I could come to that conclusion so I explained how. If you don’t feel it to be true just take it as constructive criticism and move along. Insulting me in attempt to make yourself look superior does tell me everything I need to know about you as a person though, even more so than the images you purposely cropped in a certain way for whatever reason.
