Any thoughts on which to focus on? I’m leaning towards Skadi, but like Alexandrine too.
I have a deep roster. And these two are great additions, but don’t bring anything game changing that I don’t have similar in another hero. Would essentially be filling out my roster some for war attacks and maybe some events and challenges.
My other fully leveled and emblemed blues are: Ariel, Cobalt, Glenda, Frida, Morel, Miki, Vela, Alice, and Magni
I have been using both ladies on my raid team to try them out in hopes one would stand out more to make my decision easier, but I really enjoy both the same. Even the emblems I have to put in them are about the same amount as well.
Potential other blues for consideration: Fenrir, Russula, Raffaele, Richard (no costume), Isarnia, Perseus, Aegir, Thorne, Frosth (Frosth is potentially my next consideration to give me a solid minion maker in blue.)
And that’s the reason why I voted Skadi. Just one of the best skills in the game and unique with 5*. Alexandrine is a good healer, but not outstanding and can easily be replaced with other healers like your ariel. And her board manipulation is nice, but for titans she will be enough at 3.70 or can be replaced with jott. Not sure how important that part is during pvp.
Skadi on the other hand single handedly destroys every opponent with minions. And the higher her attack stats, the better she works, whereas Alexandrine doesn’t get much better, just more sturdy.
Pretty much my thoughts exactly concerning Skadi. And although I really like how Alexandrine’s passive heals her that even at 3:70 I’m seeing her outlive several other heroes that are fully leveled and emblemed. She is still essentially a healer that Ariel does a great job on already.
I don’t see Jott mentioned. If you have Jott, then I would easily do Skadi. But since I didn’t see Jott, I voted Alex. I figure your roster is deep enough that Skadi doesn’t provide a huge upgrade in the same way that Alex can improve titans/events.
I agree with you there, but it feels like I have Cobalt to be a finisher, kind of how I view Skadi. Though her stacking on left over enemies has saved me a few times. Cobalt doesn’t have that. And her stacking would be a lot better with full stats than at 3:70
I actually do have Jott, and wasn’t even going to worry about leveling him originally. One of the things I enjoy about the boards is seeing how others use and value heroes that I may not see the same value in. After seeing Jott’s name pop up so much I began to pay him more attention and have him on my list of soon to be leveled.
I highly recommend Jott. Adding him to my titan teams was a nice benefit, even at 3/70.
Since you have him, I’m going back and changing my vote to Skadi. It’s an easy vote for Skadi now.
My raid team is a mono blue team that originally had Ariel, Morel, Frida, Glenda, and Cobalt. I switched out Ariel for Alexandrine and Glenda for Skadi and ran with them for a while in my raid attacks. Both have been great and have left me with that “if only they were fully leveled” feeling to get the most out of them.
I guess I never realized that he did that much attack. I use Miki, Kiril, Morel, Frida, and Vela for her crit up. My plan was to level Jott up and replace Kiril for the atk up and maybe replace Vela with another healer… but Alexandrine and Jott overwrite each other. So it leaves me unsure which would be best.
The extra attack up from Jott is nice, but then I lose the crit chance which though less still adds up as I see it pop up fairly often. On a red titan I can easily get over 100k per flag on a 10* titan. (Usually closer to 125K)
I’d consider Miki and Frida untouchable there. Morel could be replaced by a better defense down. If you need a healer, it would be hard to replace Kiril and might give more rationale for Alex as a quick replacement and upgrade.
FWIW my titan team is: Kiril, Frida, Isarnia, Jott, Vela. I’d easily replace Vela if I got Miki.
I do have Isarnia which I love her def down, but being slow I find Morel’s def down always active cause he fires so fast. Isarnia when I tried her was hard at 3:70 to get a good feel for her effectiveness. She died quick due to only being 3:70 and I maybe got 1 or 2 times of her def down being applied.
and everthing everyone is saying are good options and things to consider. unfortunately there’s no clear cut this is the obvious way to go. so I appreciate yours and others questions and ideas.
That’s a good consideration too. Wars and Raids would prob see the biggest benefit since my titan team is pretty effective. Regardless of what I did, my titan team might see a bit of improvement, but nothing huge.
I´d Go Alex if you want to have another full blue team. You have enough hitting damage and with that set up minions wouldn´t be a problem. Alex could help you fighting fiends.
for a defense team I´d also prefer Alex over Ariel or Skadi…
The problem may be the emblems, but Alex can be useful unemblemed.
If you change your setup to Skadi + C Kiril + 3 off color healers or 2 off color healers and one mana controller than you will win 90%+ of any raids vs Freya/Bera tanks, and some others too.
I don’t think Skadi is fully utilised in a mono stack
Although @Homaclese is right, in a mono team you probably don’t really need skadi. At least the mono teams I use sometimes are most of the time done with the opponent when I can charge my average heroes.
Skadi works best as either like he described with a lot of healers to hold skadi alive and let her do the whole job. That works most of the time, but if skadi dies those matches are over.
Or take her as off color joker (together with kiril c) in a normal raid team. Either the other 4 (3) get some stones and you kill them or skadi gets the stones and does the job.
Skadi for sure, I have Alex and she single handedly wins raids for me against Beras. But Skadi and a def down hero can melt any minion team to their death. Wonderful card for minion and a decent finisher. With Ariel in your roster, you will never need Alex
