I am trying to decide which 5* I should bother leveling and which I should save for eventual Soul Exchange. All of them come from my TC20(I guess I’m just that unlucky that I’ve never pulled one, or maybe its because in v2cp haha) Here is my list:

Azlar(he was my first 5* or I wouyld have SE him)

That looks about right. Good luck with your pulls! Sounds like you’re in a dry spell right now, so I’m hoping that it starts raining hard for you soon.
I’d keep Lianna and probably Azlar since you’ve maxed him. The others can be traded IMO.
Maybe keep Elena for the titan team. From the rest Lianna is probably worth keeping. And if you ascended any of them then don’t waste (yet) that investment.
Interesting that you got Thoth-Amun (old HOTM) from TC20, which produces only S1 heroes 
I have a feeling it may only start to rain hard when if I drop money haha
I do have 61 in the fated summons, with 46 EHT to pull from this Christmas event, so I will end up with at least one 5* who is better than what I have that way 
HV, you are right, I did get Thoth from a 30 pull for Black Friday, my apologies!
Reading up on him though, it seems most people dont think he iw worth leveling. Probably why I lumped him in with the rest
I’d lean… Level your 5* to 3.70 then as your roster develops… Unless you pull their consume… Soul exchange them all.
Used to be the case but now with newer 4* heroes and superior talents, most are miles ahead of the listed 5*.
So I would not waste resources to bring to 370, instead work on the better 4* heroes. You can get a good idea of which ones to work on from recent 4* RT teams.

you should play what you have and do not wait for heroes you would most likely never get. Thot-Amun is not great, but after hid buff playable. To get sonething good from SE needs 15 5* to exchange, the 10 5* tier is crap or very special ( you could get G.Cham and Norns for ten, but they are Mythic Titan specialists not the right choice for newer players ).
Elena and Thorne could help you in wars, W3K and towers.

I advocate for keeping Elena. She is quite a PITA on defense. It’s good to try to plan ahead, but you also must consider the now. Until Soul Exchange comes again and you can see what options are offered, it’s difficult to plan.
I agree to level up the better of the 5* you currently have, following the advised formats of rainbow defense team and mono color attack teams, while starting out.
When Soul exchange comes, empty that TC20 and see what you got to play with. (Keeping them locked up there, uncollected, is free storage on roster space)
Great idea for storage, hadnt been doing that before because i was hoping for good projects. Ive got a few now to work on, includ9ng lianna.
My current team power hovers at or above 4k depending on set-up, so I am able to accomplish most of the things I want at this point, which is why I was thinking I would stockpile the S1 5* and trade them in when I get to a number that returns a much better 5* hero.
