By far my least favorite tournament. I kinda enjoy Rush but without access to my best color and shutdowns this is one of the 2-3 tournaments I don’t consider to buy back into the tournament, since my defense will be bad too. I need 1-2 out of CLoki, Chester and Miki. (Best slow red? CSanta )
My best Toon (only one LB2) is C-Isarnia, whom I can’t use. At least I recently got and maxed Glass Vivica, who is LB1, so I can at least heal. And also have maxed Toon Elena. I think I’ll just bring different Mindless heroes and go with that.
Ludwa can also work … in 20% cases he decides his Taunt should be unremovable (more with other Wolf family members).
Luckily I got tKhagan recently. Unfortunately I don‘t have the fitting LT for him.
I forgot about Bearnadette. Hopefully I don‘t meet her too often. I‘ll try with Oni against her.
Here‘s my setup
Blues not allowed in this tourney…so no Oni, no Lord Loki, no Chang’e. It’s going to be painful meeting Bearnadette. Guess it’ll have to be toons taking her on
A nice 5-0 start into the week. I moved up to an opposing teampower of 6400, hopefully it does not go up too much further. Once it reaches 7000+, it will be very trouble some with my roster.
The most chaotic battle was the very first one. It started with a cascade, which triggered the opposing Ludwig, who got Dark Feather and Cupido running. Thankfully my Rust kept the healing of the opponents low and another cascade got Dark Feather after firing only 2 times.
My defence won its single match. I will need a very good defence this week to dream about reaching top 1%. I am already 850 points behind the number 1 because of my low teampower.
Ugly start to the tournament. My Ludwig only managed to charge in 2 of the 5 matches, and in 1, his buffs got stolen by Gooldron’s fiends instantly. Without Ludwig’s taunt and mana buffs, it’s a minor miracle I only lost 2, though both were zeros. 1 loss was to a Bearnadette tank, the other to the aforementioned Gooldron tank.
Attacked with Ludwig flanked by Von Rothbart and tAzlar. Dabria was the healer/reviver. 5th spot was another hitter depending on the colour of the tank. Might as well try Kalo in this spot tomorrow since my heroes keep dying
Was very tempted to go like this, don’t know if a combo Kalo, MN and Bearny would be as successful and frustrating to opponents as the Kalo, MN and Ludwig (rush) was few months ago:
Ugly 3-2 start, and 0-3 defense already lol. All three had Bearnadette. Lost once to a team with Bearnadette and Astrid, which is just a really tough combo when I rely on Siegfried so much. Second loss came in a hurry against Salniss-Tamlin-Dima-Scroll-Von. I never fired Starlass and Siegfried, or it’s probably a different story. Might be a short week!
