The dodge is still quite redundant because she doesn’t have skill damage, it’s mostly going to affect Dodgers like kadilen and bastet. And she’s still susceptible to blind.
Idk, if she’s slow to receive tiles, I feel that she will easily be overwhelmed. Although I would admit she is stronger now than the rest
Oh yes she’s also a DOT caster with priority dispel, which is quite useful against any ailment shields
A Thorne, Cao Cao, 5x the HotM.
Way below my expected for the # of pulls but I’ll count my blessings and since I have a new project, I’ll stop here.
Good luck everyone!
Had 11 pulls saved on this portal, and on my 8th I got her. While maybe not the best hero in the portal, I’m not upset with getting her, especially with that few pulls
Once again a family bonus saves the day, without it she’s decent. Oh yes so she has a 50% chance to poison for 4 turns when she’s alone. Priority dispel first before DOT application, the only way you can deal with this is to resist her poison to begin with, which means only ailment shields or poison resist passives. Can’t even kitty/Goldie your way out of this
Wait, you can’t even ailment shield your way as well with heroes like Hathor…she dispels first, omg haha. Which means only aramis can block her nasty poison. So it’s only poison resist passives/gargoyles/aramis. Thank god they didn’t go make aramis’ ailment shield dispellable
Already seeing a XZJ at first position with the potentially uncleansable 6 turn poison damage
She looks like an unreasonable auntie unable to get her way at a market sale! She should be more beautiful but sly in looks…
And can’t SG make up their minds on how to name Chinese heroes? Either translate all or not. Nine-Headed Beast, but Xiong Shanjun and Xie Zi Jing? And the inconsistent spacing between the transliterated characters… Sheesh…
I am not that familiar with all the demons/spirits in the Xiyouji, but a search online shows that there is a Jiutouchong (nine-headed worm, and related to one of the Dragon Kings) who apparently features as an enemy of Sun Wukong and Erlang Shen.
The bird aspect we see in Nine-Headed Beast is actually from a different mythological beast, the Nine-Headed Bird, jiutouniao.
I suspect SG just mashed the two into one entity, to make him more interesting or aesthetically pleasing. (Not that it’s a bad thing per se.)
No, it is generally considered a good number, because in Mandarin (and many other Chinese topolects), there is homophony with another character for ‘long time’, with signification of permanence/durability.
Also, it is the largest (single-digit) yang number, so it is a strong and auspicious number.
