So I have maybe 4-5 5* and a bunch of 4* units. None of which are leveled very high but neither are my 3*
My question is should I focus all on my 4-5 * and just burn my 3? Maybe not all of them but if I have better what’s the point right?

You shoud have at least 2 3* in every colour for raid tournament and rare events.

3 star usefulness:
- Challenge Events (rare tier)
- Raid tournaments
- Wars (until you have 30 strong 4 stars)
Before the raid tournaments were introduced, it was only challenge events longterm to keep your three stars. Now with raid tournaments – assuming the loot does eventually get better again – I think it’s worth keeping around a good bench of them.
That said; there some great 3 star heroes, and some really bad ones. I would only keep the good ones myself. If you let me know which ones you have, I would be happy to tell you which ones are worth keeping and which ones you should feed.

I actually recently paused my 4-5* training for couple days just to finish a group of few solid 3*. Do not go too crazy because the rewards are only moderately worth it, but it’s still good to not miss out on these. Keep two healers of different colours (eg. Belith, Hawkmoon), then focus on snipers (my choices: Gato, Valen, Bane, Baltazar… I also got Chochin and Melia for their utility). Avoid slow heroes, although one spirit linker would help (eg. Gunnar, for raid tournament tank). Again, do not go too crazy because you won’t use them that much*.

The only slow 3* heroes I keep are:
- Gill-Ra because she’s the only cleanser in that rarity + casts atk- and def- too
- Ulmer for having a really high attack stat
- Gunnar for having the best defense
Although with the rush attack rule, it may be worth keeping Jahangir and (dare I say it…) Oberon as well.

Slow heroes will be useful in tournament where the special rule is rush attack.
I am a hoarder. I think you should keep 1 of every hero. I would keep 6 of every hero, but I don’t have the spending power for that many hero spots

Sorry. 5 of every hero? Haha. Who knows if anything will ever change in the future. Maybe should would get a buff 
All of those except Friar and Karil are decent to keep. I’m not a big fan of any of the Ramming Rush users myself.
Maybe theres other opinions on Frair. He’s no good at event quests and I personally never found him threatening in the last raid tournament with 3 stars.
