Ok folks, i’m hemming and hawing about who goes next, so i’m asking the forum.
Whuch of these gets the next set of tabards? None of them are “need” heroes, but they all have good use cases.

Depends on what you want actually. Do you need a minion counter it’s grimble (stats are bit outdated and mostly useful against minion hero’s only)
If you need a tank for minion war and also someone who can block opponents minions bera is good choice.
LuBu is really good for rush wars.
Anubis skill is unique, if you want to make best use of his unique skill you can try it but not sure whether he is worth the mats !!!
Quartz you can ignore because costume rigard is cheaper.
Decision should also be based on emblem availability

Lu Bu and his fiends can incapacitate a team built for buffs. Problem is trying to get him to fire before the buffs are released. If you have a fast speed buff blocker (like cGuardian Panther) then you’re set.
Bera and Grimble are good choices as well. They are both great against minion producers. Not familiar with Quartz or Anubis, so I cannot comment on those two.

Lu Bu on it’s own is probably the best. But Bera and Grimble are nothing to discount. Fill your need, all three are solid heroes.

If none of these are “need” heroes and none of the others fill an unused purpose on your bench I’d be inclined to say Anubis just because he is so unique and would add a new dimension to the game. Change it up to keep it fresh, as they say.

Quarz sucks, so not that one 
Since you don´t need any of them I would go for something fun, which I have trouble seeing Bera as. She fills a function, but besides that?
Lu Bu can be a big hitter in rush, but again you don´t seem to need that otherwise you would already have chosen him.
Leaves Grimble and Anubis.
If you encounter minions tank frequqntly Grimble is a game changer, he can speed up your slow purples to fire in 9 tiles (meaning as soon as grimble eats a bunch of minions). If you play higher up in the game and never encounter minion tanks, Grimble is not interesting.
I agree with @nevarmaor Anubis is very different, if you don´t have a use for Grimble I would go for this one, apart from a very special special he also has the best stats and you don´t need to LB him to make use of him.

Curious. Why does Quartz suck?
Better than vf cleanse and 34% atk up seems ok for 1st charge.
2nd charge is nominally similar to .cRigard…

Exactly that, why waste resources on a 5 star if you can get the same from a cheap 4star costume???
I mean if your only alternative available for maxing is Zulag, I wouldn´t have said what I have said, but with your options, he is number 5 of 5.

If you looking for a nice to have card, i suggest Anubis. He is unique card that lot tend to underestimate. I use him a lot against non Aramis defense. He can wreck the defense.
I would also not mind doing Grimble just for the minion meta.
