I’m building a team for auto playing the map stages where I don’t wish to use loot tickets. I’ve pretty much got it where I want it but with Fated Summon it’s raised a question I hadn’t considered.
Here’s the current team makeup I’m working towards based on heroes I have:
Red - Black Knight (no costume)
Yellow - Topaz
Green - Lady of the Lake (normal but with costume bonus)
Blue - Costume Ariel
Purple - Costume Hel (currently levelling up)
I am thinking that Onatel might be a better fit for this team to really drive home mana stealing but my question is whether or not that is a sensible substitute for Topaz?
I don’t think it’s needed personally but I’m not sure if I’m undervaluing Onatel in this scenario?
Two healers and a taunt seems like Overkill on the defensive front. I literally run like one Healer with multi target heroes costume Ariel should be just fine by herself and I’m not saying you’re method wouldn’t work I’m just thinking it would take forever.
Topaz is a solid hitter but main auto farming I’m looking at are later hard levels of the seasons. For this reason I’m thinking Onatels’ mana control might be better than Topaz’ heavy hits.
The team on autoplay can take just a few mins on lower levels but a longer slug on harder levels. Problem with harder levels is heavier hitters don’t tend to survive as long.
For tournaments I always play them myself as I want to be as quick as possible for more points/higher reward tiers but yes this could feasibly run tournaments too!
For me the main point of Lady of the Lake isn’t the healing but the mana reduction minions. For the boss levels it’s saved me more times than I can count across all areas of the game.
I’m very set on the 4 it’s just the holy I’m unsure which path to take but leaning towards Onatel currently and wanted some feedback on that aspect.
Any damage dealing yellow will work with that much protection. Personally I don’t like Heroes with with multiple tiers for Auto battling but I also don’t like tri Target Heroes either because I’d rather use a sniper and know that all the damage is going to where it needs to go or a hero that’s hits all but either way it shouldn’t be much of a problem. And the minions are always nice to have. Can I ask why you’re stuck on rainbow? I run 3-2 even in my auto battles and it’s works out just great. Maybe a little tile damage would help?
Not sure if Onatel and C-Hel will play together well. If their specials do not overwrite, might be very cool; otherwise, they might cancel each out so to speak. Have you tried testing them together?
I will go ahead and level them up. Problem I had was lot of old forum posts give the impression Onatel was not very good and with so many new heroes I maintained that view of others which I shouldn’t be doing
I’ll give them a level when I get them, still need 8 more pulls before I can get her from fated summon but nearly there
Thank you for your input!
I found previously with auto play that snipers would often hit the lowest health hero who would need tiles damage only so not always optimal and liked hit all heroes to that end.
That’s a good point, very much stuck in my ways there but I normally attack with mono teams and for auto farm I figured rainbow made more sense. I have very minor OCD as well so the idea of a 2-1-1-1 team just feels plain wrong as silly as that sounds.
In this case Black Knight is my personal favourite hero, when I got into the game I always wanted Ariel. I got Lady of the Lake when chasing Black Knight so fell in love with the minions stealing mana. Hel was always a target as Proteus worked extremely well so the 5* version made sense. That left yellow/holy so then just makes sense to me to go for rainbow team.
That is an excellent point and not something I’d considered! I haven’t tried them as I’m still 8 pulls away from my next Fated Summon where I plan to get Onatel then
