I have 4/6 tabards and looking at which purple to level next, any advice is appreciated.

In this situation you gave an option to choose 2. C 2 Obakan is so far better than the other options, I only chose him.

Agree with @Chadmo
Freya and Agrafena are also great heroes but cx2 Obakan will serve you well both on defence and offence! Great tank! You will max Freya and Agrafena later
