What would it take for you to replace cyprian?
I don’t use mine and can’t imagine limit breaking him. If you love him and will keep him on the team it can make sense, but I’d rather use it on any other season one dark four star.

Your best option to replace Cyprian is cRigard. Kunchen is cleanse, heal and def down, however he’s slow. You could use an average (effectively fast with mana troops) healer/cleanser/buffer. Even if you have just regular Rigard, still better to replace Cyprian with him. Other option is Tiburtus.

I also have not maxed Cyprian because I maxed Boril who was a great hero for me in the beginning of the game, but I don’t get to use him very much anymore.
When it comes to limit breaking, I would not do either of them. For me the dark 4* I consider to limit break are Proteus, Ametrine, C. Sabina. Rigard and C Tiburtus are also good options.
I have Obakan and costume, but I don’t think I would max him without the costume. Unless you have at least 12 tabards and spare damascus blades and tomes of tactics.

That’s the only dark 4* with talents that I have unfortunately. And I don’t have any extra emblems for other 4*. I have 20 tabards and only dark 5* I have is Obakan.
I’d rather use obakan with no emblems.
If you have so many tabards, I would go for Obakan, especially since I have the feeling from your roster that you don’t do many pulls.

I’d also consider changing up your troops. I’d put the best one on kunchen. Then the other ones on your costume heroes. I’d potentially go with a different troop for jab
Well, he can put the emblems on and if he gets a better Barbarian he can reset him.
On Kunchen I’d actually put the crit troop because of the extra health and defense.

I suggested mana so he charges faster. That’s my play style. But I see the value in keeping kunchen alive with the more defensive troop.

Indeed, it’s also a good alternative. I usually prefer the crit troop for healers though if they don’t drop the number of tiles significantly (like from 10 to 9; from 12 to 11 for me it’s not such an important drop)

Damn, we so rarely get to see Cyprian these days, this is a welcomed sight. However, even if I was a fervent Cyprian user and supporter, it’s now been literally years since my Cyprian hasn’t seen any kind of action. As some others said before me, there are far better options to emblem and limit break, among the purple 4*, than the undead prince… unfortunately, Cyprian doesn’t, today, make his way into my second purple mono…

Same here. Since I got him early, he carried a lot on his shoulders and was key to my early development. For six months however he pratcically sees no play, and got stripped of his emblems. I guess he can still be useful in certain 4* tournaments defense, however that is very limited application. Definitely not good enough in offensive purple stack.

Cyprian was, as I recall, my first maxed 4* hero. Back then he was the back bone of my gameplay startegy. He enabled me to start winning against rare quests and event bosses, he also made it possible I advance with harder S1 map stages and successfully raiding against higher TP defenses, I really used him everywhere. This was way, way back, long before emblems were even rumored… He was a great hero back then, terribly underrated, though… but, as I said, that was a long time ago…

Thanks everyone on your input and time. So I guess no LB for poor Cyp. I’ll wait for one more damascus and I’ll level Obakan and give him some talents. After buff he is not bad anymore plus his attack is powerfull. And he’ll make my mono a bit faster.
