Wars and wins/ hero

I thought that it may be useful for other players, but maybe I would get also some useful feedback, to share my experience and statistics when fighting wars for already several months.

In the spreadsheet below you can see my war battles and which teams I used against specific teams. You also have some statistics of the win rate for the different heroes.

A disclaimer though: take all these data with a grain of salt. Wins for one hero depend also on the boards, talent activitation etc (RNG), on how well a hero synergises with the rest of the team, on how well a particular team is designed against the opponent team and of course on how I play the board. There were a few fights (if you also read the comments) when I lost because of stupid mistakes. Also the fact that I don’t use a certain hero is linked to the fact that I did not manage to find better synergies or I got used to certain teams, not that they are not valuable. Sometimes I even forget about them :smiley:

You can also see that my current style is mainly to have 3-1-1 teams, where the ones are healers.

Again, this is by no means aimed to be a definite answer for anyone concerning a particular hero, but an indication of trends for the heroes I used more often.

I use to have similar tracking with war before it got too monotonous. So I went and added some stats I calculated.

Here is your victory rate by attack by war type.

Do you think these numbers represent your relative strengths in each mode?
Maybe there isn’t enough sample, but I’m surprised at the variability in win rates by mode.

Since wars are the main thing keeping me motivated in the game, I do enjoy doing a bit of analysis and looking for ways to improve.

I don’t think that the rate of wins is really relevant for my strengths in each mode except maybe from minions where I have several very good anti-minion heroes. But attack boost should have been definitely higher than Equalizer.

There are more factors involved, as the variability of the opponent’s strength, in some wars the opponents are very strong, in others quite manageable, luck with tiles and also how open I am to risk. I think in attack boost, since one year ago it was the mode in which I performed best, I tend to be less cautious

But you gave me some food for thought and I will pay more attention to the mode win rate in the future
