Personally I am a fan of games that allow players to pick their difficulty instead of forcing all players to play at highest difficulty, or deliberately lose ( trophy dropping )
Devs could add adjustable raids with adjustable loot ( +0 to +50% attack & defense bonus, optional Raid rules based on war / tournament rules, ability to fight defense bots for food & practice but no trophies, etc. )
But this is a business. It is not about fun. It is about profits.
