I have 4 training camps. Two are level 11 and they have about 1400 training. TC 20 is always running as well and a TC 13 that I use for colour training. Atm I can’t progress in Atlantis hard and season 3 so for now I am farming and stocking up on recruits/items. I am tempted to level another TC up to 19 but I do run out of mats. So, what is most effective to run my TC’s. I still have a number of 4/5 heroes to level up, as for some three and my costumes as well. Is 8-7 still the way to go for farming?
My opinion, I don’t think tc13 gives you any value if you have a tc20. If you are depending on the training camps to acquire heroes, you may want to bring that one to a tc20 and run multiple. Some run as many as 4 tc20s but that sacrifices your leveling and it sounds like you have plenty there.
What’s your adventure pack inventory look like? You may want to run tc2. If you really have 1400 in your two tc11s, it would take some time to adjust your recruits.
If you do bring one tc up, I’d eliminate a tc11 and run it at tc2 if you can. You may even want to consider tc1 but that will drain food.
As for farming, I’d refer to the guide linked below. Hope this helps.
I run:
2 TC20s (used for storing food- currently bordering on near-empty after AR)
1 TC1/TC2 (Yes I know TC2 is strictly better, but I just like spitting out feeders quicker with TC1, plus sometimes I run out of backpacks)
1 TC11 (for recruit storage- currently stuffed at 7759 recruits post-AR)
I toggle every day between TC11 and TC20 any time I need food or need to store away from from picking up a lot from the farms/chests/raids/quests- but I always make sure there’s at least the minimum running.
I used to run: 1 TC20, 1 TC11, 1 TC2, and 1 that I toggled between TC1/TC2/TC11… but being a super-CTPer that has been holding onto summons with the bad HOTMs (and with the lack of AMs), I’ve actually almost run out of good heroes to level (plus I need more 5*s), so I switched to two TC20s.
While 5-8 is a little better for backpacks, 8-7 is just too good all around imo, including food.
Hi, imo, if you’re taunted to take one to 19, yes you should. I’ve been in same situation. I started loading both of my TC 11’s. Didn’t touch one for a week, and the other I claimed regularly. farming 8-7 all the time. I used my TC14, training level 2 when I got backpacks. All while keeping my TC 20 going. After a week, I had enough heros to level up my TC 14 to 15. I kept this approach up, using all my stock piled backpacks up on my newly leveled TC, then upgrade TC, … repeat. Didn’t take that long and starting the process by stocking up on hero’s (that was hard, gave me alot of options.
You’ll be very efficient and effective with a TC 20 always running, TC 19 for your choice, and 2 -TC 11’s producing what level 2 gives without the backpack.
Wish you success
I would try to get a second one to TC 19, or even TC 20, is you are still missing a lot of classic 4* and 5* heroes. I am currently running 2 TC 20, 1 TC 11, and one that flips between TC2/11/20. I don’t have all the classic season 1 5*, so I will be running TC20 at least until they all show up.
Barry’s spreadsheet is very useful. It is often quite busy with lots of people looking at it, so be aware of that, sometimes loading certain sheets is an issue.
8-7 is very good farming for 3 WE, especially for recruits. 7-4 is the spot for when you need to fill a monster chest.
Only currently running 1 at legendary (20) though. Second is running at slow (11). Third and forth, I usually run backpacks (2) and fast training (19) until I run out of resources for those. Then I run one with wooden swords (1) until I accumulate enough mats to go back to 2 and 19.
Good thing about having all 4 at level 20 is… in case I ever reach a point to where I don’t have any more heroes to work on? I can set all 4 of them to legendary… and eventually at least one of them should spit out some new 5* for me to work on. Statistically speaking, anyway. I mean, if four simultaneous TC20s can’t spit out a legendary hero in a couple of months, then the game is probably just completely broken anyway, amirite?
Thanks for all the replies. My adventure packs run out regularly but right now I have 341. Rugged clothes I have 827, so I will start using tc2 and keep farming 8-7 and add 5-8 to it if there aren’t quests that need doing. As for heroes: I am good with my 4* but could use some healers as I only have Kiril, BT, Hawkmoon and Belith. For 5* heroes I can make a team of them: Drake, Gregorion,Magni,Khagan. Justice and Sartana are maxed and I just pulled Joon. I am leaving the 5* for now as I have some 3/4* I need to level that I pulled from the Sand empire and other events. Am also focussing on levelling my costumes up. Still have not levelled my SH up to 24 as other things keep getting in the way. The way I am playing now that can wait.
I ran a couple of TC20s simultaneously over a number of months and ended up pulling every single 4* vanilla hero in the game. Still missing several of the 5s, but a solid team of 4s can hold up quite well.
The majority of season one healers in the game are 4* heroes anyway… so it’s not at all unusual for even “top level” players to keep a few 4s in their roster.
If you are at a lull, it’s worth taking a second TC to 19, just to have the option of speed training with TC19.
I run one TC 20 nonstop, not to get 5*s but to store food. Those who don’t run TC 20 anymore, where do you store your food?
I run one TC 11 nonstop to store recruits. Farm them in Atlantis S2:15-9N.
The other two I alternate between TC 2 (preferred but run out of backpacks), TC 1/3 (till I run out of swords), TC 19 (when I feel like wasting food or need a quick top up) or TC 11 (default).
I farm enough recruits in Atlantis that I don’t run out in between two ARs. I do run out of backpacks, so rest of the month I farm for them - S1:5-8, S2:1-All.
I hardly ever run 8-7 anymore since I built up enough recruit stock. I run it sometimes for backpacks but the loot isn’t what it used to be. Also, swapping around farming levels seems to average out slightly better on loot, though I’ve never tracked actual data on it. Could be just a feeling.
