Whilst I agree that he is an older hero, and it can be hard to keep alive in the top levels of gameplay, I still would say that he is FAR more reliable to achieve the buff steal outcome than halloween heroesā¦
Considering that he can steal ALL buffs and redistribute them with one specialā¦ whereas a halloween hero can steal the most recent from 1 random enemyā¦
He can still absolutely turn a battle around if used correctly

Let me clarify the aspect of his survivabilityā¦
Hatter is my top hero that gets used daily in raids & against top teams.
He teams up & slaughters any team with El Naddaha. From their specials, you can guess how & what !
I have limit broken Hatter & he survives very well.
Hatter is a dupe I would be happy to get & level up the 2nd one immediately !

Just to clarify, when enemy got active taunt, Hatter stealing all the active buffs, or just taunt?

I think that just the taunt (same as a dispeller dispels just the taunt at first), but maybe someone that has him can confirm
Just wasted few raids to test it with 3/70 which i got.
He stole taunt and attack from Krampus, rest of enemies kept their attack buffs.
So he steals all what can be taken from the taunter.
Ah, yes, he steals all the dispellable buffs from the taunt hero. I thought you were asking if he is stealing also the buffs from the other heroes protected by the taunt heroes.
Basically, he steals everything that can be dispelled at that point.
So best to use melendor first. Dispel the taunt. Then use hatter to steal your other enemies buffs.
Dispell Ludwig and then steal their mana gen bonus seems pretty nice.
Is there anyone who uses the Hatter for attacking Guardian Hippo? I have the Hatter and he is 1.1 now. Even after being LBed, his stats are much weaker than the new heroes, so Iām hesitating to feed him. I think I can wait until I get the newest green one, but the Hatterās SS looks fun to play with. Actually, Iām tired of my āhitting after EDD or DD styleā green teams, for example, Evenlyn+El Naddaha+ā¦ Itās too typical and boring for me to use them. I found out the Hatter can be good for attacking G. Hippo in some threads, but Iām a little skeptical. His stats are much weaker and heās got average mana speed. G. Hippo is fast and make allies faster after firing SS. If you have some videos or screenshots concerning this stratagy (using the Hatter for hitting G. Hippo), plz share them. Thanks.
Not sure what the issue is. You kind of want G. Hippo to fire first to steal his buff. It makes some sense. I havenāt completed him yet, but we will see how things go. Generally if I stack green, itās Almur, Marcel and Lianna for a quick kill as you mentioned. Hatter would provide some change in strategy.
Iāve been using Diaochan & Villiers to steal buffs for a while now the buff stealing can last longer as long as minions r still alive OFC & can be a little random most of the time. After just pulling Hatter the & using him a few times the randomness is less prevalent with him. All dispellable buffs to all allies instead of maybe this 1 or that 1. With all the buffs about today he is more relevant than ever now. Defo worth the full mats & LB IMO !!!
After a fair bit of deliberating, I did LB my hatter several months ago. Iām still on the fence if it was the right move. If youāre trying to decide if heās worth investing in for War/Pvp, I think it really helps to consider the level of competition. If youāre considering him for elite competition (Top 50 Wars), I donāt think heās a good option. But the further down you go in level of competition, the more useful he becomes.
If Hatter dies when firing his special - eg if hitting a riposter - does he still steal all dispellable buffs and give them to allies?

I just got my 2nd to 3/70ā¦ā¦ tonics & LBs waiting.
Complete him & use himā¦ check out my video of him stealingā¦. Hippo & Furdinand buffs which wiped out whole enemyā¦. From total strength to almost zero.
If you can, get him from this soul exchange

Believe me, it was damn close between him and Milena - but in the end I chose Milena, and thatās mostly on the basis that I already have powerful dispellers available to me in all colours, and Milena just filled out more niche roles for meā¦ Plus, lack of cleric emblems was also a big contributor 
In addition - CF1 is the one portal where I do pull hard and save all my Challenge Coins for, so the chances of getting him naturally are reasonably high, as well as the small possibility of HA10 and covenant portals where I believe he also can be found!
