The issue though is that he should not protect against Hippo as Hippo does not deal or have a status ailment. In this regard, it’s broken, though currently a convenient loophole to counter Hippo.

I would believe not. Though, I believe I’ve figured out why he treats Hippos attack as an ailment… Hippo, as a barbarian, has an xx chance to apply bleeding, hence, an ailment. When this is triggered, it also blocks the damage of 225% from Hippo’s special.

Omg this hero is terrible 
like legit terrible especially when compared to all others. Boost the poison damage to 500 over 3 turns and recover HP for ALL party members to 75% especially considering he is SLOW speed. Compared to Cleopatra he is ABSOLUTE trash and make his immunity not dispellable. What were they thinking 
and I pulled 3 of him and no Becky - FML

This is an ok Hurricane flank and a good attack hero but status aliments prevention is it’s bane.
I attack with him all the time in high diamond and he is a beast you have to pair him with the right team to get the most out of him
He give 50 more damage each turn 238% from his poison that’s a lot
You should try him out first

He is a team builder, I have him with my Erlang shen and they just melt stuff. It’s even better if you have narcisa. You can reset his ailment, and then proceed to proc the AD damage herself with her own AD. Plus she’s bard so the extra 5% mana will come in handy. Telonius at +20% would have 9% mana straight off the bat, but i don’t think it matters anyways for him, his charge 1 is equivalent to v fast
It’s never fun to get dupes, especially when you use your own money to pull them. Getting 3 of the same anything would enrage anyone. I am very excited with my telonius, but if I would to get 3 of them, the excitement would wane off real quick and it would probably turn into lament or anger

I use him against all teams that does not have Aramis. He is pretty efficient with his fast DOT to all and mana debuff to all. By the time his DOT is done the enemy is ready for the final punch. Love this guy.

The Barbarian bleeding effect is triggered on normal attacks only, and never on specials. That’s not the case how his block works.
I think he works properly but it was not described well so.
And that just raised another question, does Reubin halven hippos damage with his buff?
