Talent grids – why don’t some heroes have them available? [Answer: special skill must be maxed]

Can anyone explain why some heroes get a talent grid for some people but others don’t?

Example I have Balthazar that is fully acsended but I can’t get him to get a talent grid but when I face others in raids they have talent grids for him.

How do they get them and I dont

You do when his skill is 8/8, not before… even at 3/50

If he is 3/50, feed him 5 x 2* purple, 10 x 1* purple, and you’ll level his special. Repeat until max.
