My one chance to be smug about having used emblems to turn Danza into a tank. If this had happened after I reset him for Domitia (currently 4^56), I might have rage quit E&P.

these no-Purple tourneys always make me realize how much I rely on Proteus and Sabina.
at least I have Melendor, and to an extent Sonya and Kiril and Boldtusk, to take Sabina’s healing and dispel
but Li Xiu and Chao… they can work but they’re far from Proteus
I am jealous of your double Jackals. But not as much as your Falcon. In my opinion, second most useful red 4* in the game. More useful than all red Classic 5* heroes even after Devs fixed their Falcon, and Athena, defense debuff problems.

Falcon 4*+19 ( protects Jackal 4*+18 )

2* tourney reminded me how hard it is to get X*+18 heroes out of corner if flank also X*+18.
Blood battle prevents them from waiting out the corner heroes with double healers on the attack team.

I was trying to separate my strongest jackal from falcon but your explanation is helpful. I’ll have them together!
What about danza, even though sitting 3/60, I doubt I can max before start and without emblems maybe not a big enough upgrade (replacing one among Hansel falcon or lixiu).
Jackal 4*+1 gets evade, Jackal is very fast and hits decently.
Li Xiu will be a pain this tourney.
Hansel makes a good corner hero with special skill defense buff.
I would just use the five heroes you picked.
But you can still level Danzaburo for other uses. Much better random special skill then Rumpel ( blue 5* hero ). Also helps with purple mobs in both rogue quests and purple boss in one rogue quest.
My Yellow Squad is pretty thin. Thinking of running defense of:
Scarlett +7
Grimm +7
Li Xiu +10
Chao +3
Jack O’Hare +7
Scarlett is fast + has 12% chance of dodge
Grimm, average mana but a helpful defense down; just hope he survives long enough…
Li of course, and Chao as flank because also Yellow

Gormek has better survivability than Grimm, and Triton so I don’t run two Reds…

FWIW, I just posted and formatted the raid tournament scoring guide in guides. It is dense, but I think I covered everything that we think we know about how this all works. Hopefully it helps everyone.

How does the order look for each option? (C is the same as B with Hu at flank and Gretel on the wing).
Flirting with putting Hu at Tank, swapping with Danza, but not yet sure… Sitting out a maxxed Wu which I’m ok with, but can see him being a difference maker in later rounds if indeed I get that far.

1st day…1 loss thanks to a REALLY bad board…3-2 blue and red for the enemy and all I got was green, yellow and purple till the end…meh.
I feel like this thread will have less attention now that it’s not in General Discussion - any reasoning why it was moved?
I’m tanking with Hu Tao, taking advantage of the fact that Rigard and Tiberius are not allowed. He’s got +6 class nodes activated for a 12% revive chance, and okayish durability for his rarity.
Honestly, I think that’s a fantastic choice. I bet he survives to fire in quite a few defenses, and the revives are really going to frustrate your opponent.
I just don’t have the guts to pin my emblems on a panda.
Well this tourney is off to a horrible start. Probably my worst ever.
Attacks - won first 2, then lost the next 3(!). I was not able to fire off Wilbur, Colen, or Falcon before being defeated. Just horrible boards ugh.
Defense of Jackal +18/Wu +14/Hu/Li/Chao is currently at 1-4.

Haven’t been attacked so far. I faced lots of high emblemed teams, but hey all contained healers and hardly any yellow. So I won every attack and currently top 1%
Went with team #3.Having Sonya as debuffer and no double blue giving invitation to Caedmon.

Offense Already lost 2 battles…

Day 2 is usually my best…with 5-0 lets see if I’m able to achieve this tomorrow.
