Goodbye @TGW . Our dear TGW passed away today. He passed away peacefully in the hospital after a cardiac arrest and having trouble getting enough oxygen, with his girlfriend and father at his side.

@sleepyhead …I am so very sorry to hear about TGWs passing. I had no idea he had been poorly.
My sincere condolences to his family, his friends and to his alliance colleagues.
He will be very sadly missed.
He gave a lot of enjoyment with his passionate and humorous posts in the forum. I will remember him for a very long time.
Take care, and please look after everyone. This is so very sad……

I wish instead of a heart I could put tears on the OP post. Cause I can’t stop crying. @TGW was a great man. One of a kind. I will miss him dearly

TGW was such a great man. With our alliance, his philosophy was always -

  1. respect everyone
  2. everyone should have fun
  3. what counts is effort, teamwork, collaboration. so what if your boards sucked and you got 0 points in war? what counts is you tried your best

even here on the forums, he was always sticking up for the little player.

and he was funny, creative, hilarious, wise. He had a tough childhood, but he never gave up, his grit got him to where he was now. He was teaching himself how to make video/online games. All self-taught, he shared some with me, he drew the art himself, taught himself how to code and make soundtracks…

and he was always honest with his praise, always made everyone feel good.

I miss him so very much.

Dammit @sleepyhead. That sucks. I’m so sorry. Big hugs to you, his alliance, his family, and friends. Thank you for sharing. I already miss the ever cranky but brilliant @TGW.

Really sorry for your loss Sleepyhead. We all suffer this loss because he went out of his way to discuss his frustrations in the game for the betterment of all of us. All that conviction with a good sense of humor to back it up.

Again, I wish his family and loved ones peace in this horrible situation

Really sad news.

We were all fortunate that TGW helped make the forum a better place with his kindness, humour, and energy. He spoke up frequently, and passionately on behalf of the f2p/c2p.

Rest in peace TGW. I will miss you a lot. :cry:

TGW took ill suddenly and went into cardiac arrest, had trouble breathing… he was in the hospital for a few days before he passed :frowning:
