As far as the power rating has it;
the Aug 2024 FS’s most powerful hero is Passepartout at 811 hero power at 4/80 and 911 hero power after larning 20 emblem nodes.
(The least powerful heroes from the Aug 2024 FS are Natalia and Guardian Kong both at 765 power at 4/80 and 865 power after larning 20 emblem nodes).

So the best hero I can get from this FS will be in line with other FS choices. But…
I’d rather use Toon.Kiril than Passepartout.
Lord Loki can copy a better healer than Passepartout.
I have three blues I’d limit break ahead of Passepartout (what I came up with after 3 seconds).
I’ll take Krampus before Passepartout.
For me, this is the worst FS due to the relative power. It also shows the value of SE in comparison.

This is a good thought process. I’m going to write out my mono teams in each element to help me look for what improvements I can get in SE.
To me, it belies the idea that E&P is unfriendly to FtP and new players. These are the people who are most likely to be able to get something useful from FS while veterans and PtP may only gain contributors for the likes of three kingdom’s battles.
It could be good if SG could improve their offerings or split them as something such as,
10 options for 100 value in the fated summons bar,
5 options for 200 value in an extended fated summons bar,
5 options for 300, or so, value in a further extended fated summons bar,
I don’t see why FS shouldn’t have something to offer for veteran players and those who spend.
But FS is more helpful to f2p and newer players than heavy spenders due to the reasons you point out. I can still find a few options that can help my team by filling gaps, regardless of power.
This is the general feeling for everything though.
911 Power would be 60th place (kicking Toon Kiril at 75+20 off that spot).
So I might actually play Passepartout in a W3K team instead of Kiril (if I don´t need the dispel) But he would not see action in a regular war for sure.
Also he´d get kicked out of this spot as soon as I level another hero (or LB2 Kiril or some other 4 star).
Another comparison I have Akkorog at 85+20 (959 power) who is in a group of the lowest powered heroes I play in regular wars like Milena, Grace, Faline, Kara slightly ahead of 4-80 Waddles and Goldie (who also get play time in wars). Of course Akkorog just isn´t as good as the others skill wise so he never gets used, but I think a Lepiota at 85+20 would potentially see some play time.
Most of my heroes are extremely dated and I have 38 heroes more powerful than that. Gazelle will help but I already own Lepiota so it’ll be one decent choice and then kinda soul exchange fodder.
At the moment, 911 TP would be good enough for 54th. I am working on some other heroes who I’m sure would knock 911TP out of my top 60 with a month or 2 though. I think there are only 2 heroes from this iteration of FS who I would like and don’t already have so I would say, for me, this FS is being used as a collectors chest more than anything else.
No, but is that really a fair comparison when some of our roster is LB or LB2? Or has costumes? I have LB2 4* heroes are greater than 911 TP like Rigard who is sitting at 1013 and I haven’t maxxed his toon costume.
Maybe pure stats don’t matter that much because I picked Lepiota specifically because she is unique and can remove heroes out of the way for a limited time, allowing me to ghost tiles or otherwise concentrate on other heroes.

No. My 30th most powerful hero is Onatel LB1+19 at 916 TP. (FTP roster; coming up on six years playing.)
A 911 TP hero would slide in at 34th, behind Balur +20 at 913 and ahead of Toon Kiril LB1+20.
Same. Vanda is objectively not a great hero, but she is very fast, has a reasonably rare skill, and gives me some way to get value out of almost 2700 sorcerer emblems that I literally have no use for otherwise.
There’s also the issue of color balance. Three of my top 6 heroes by TP are green, while my most powerful red hero ranks TWENTY-SECOND on my overall roster by TP. I can’t even make a red mono team out of my top 30 heroes. My most powerful red mono team would be Tahir LB1+19, Maheegan LB2+20, Gefjon LB1+19, JF LB1+20, and G. Kong LB1+20. Would Vanda be a significant downgrade to any of them?
No. Again, I have a 2LB Maheegan in my top 30 because my reds are so bad. Although he has a higher TP, I suspect anyone on this board would trade him for at least half of the current FS roster.
Interesting thought exercise. 911 is still good for about 24th place for me (f2p). My top team is only 6200+.
I haven’t LB everything which is why he wouldn’t be passed 30. I still do well in wars with my alliance.
FS is more about complimentary heroes and improving weaknesses for me. Garjammal might be my first pick more for Titan than war. I missed out on Bera earlier and have wanted her.
New players can still get great value and new heroes. Glad no more Season 1 so really have 20 options.
But he would not see action in a regular war for sure.
