Could anyone explain to me why the opponent get more points than us even if they are stronger than us in war ?
As example my team’s power is 4458, if the opponent defeated me they get 108 point, and my opponent team’s power is 4584 and if I defeated him I get 96 point.
The same for the rest.
Team points are based on a ratio of your team’s health points against your alliance’s team total. The same is true for your opponents. Team TP value has no bearing. The total of all teams is around 1500 points for both sides (there is some variation due to rounding). Your team may have more health points than your opponent, even though his TP is higher. But even if it isn’t, it’s how high yours is relative to the rest of your alliance, vs how high your opponent’s is relative to the rest if their alliance.

Count all total points of your alliance and their. It is the same.
The points for each members within alliance divide based on their defense strength.
Ur enemy get high points when they kill u might be because u have one of the strongest war defense within ur alliance.
Meanwhile ur opponent as you pointed, might not the strongest one within their alliance.
What I can’t explain and figure out is why a fellow player in my alliance has a higher maximum potential score than me when I have a higher team power (approx 100 difference), has more highly emblemed 5 star heroes, has higher level of troops, and has a deeper bench of heroes.
It’s the total added health of the five heroes in your defense team.

That means running Crit Troops rather than mana troops effectively increases your point value.

I tried adding all the health of my war defense heroes and my fellow member’s. The latter’s total health edges mine by 200. Now this is making sense.

Yessiree. I’m in a two person alliance. My partner has a defense team that is one point higher than mine, but my team is worth 5 more points. It’s the only way to evenly distribute the total points available.

I guess you figure this out very easy. For months, I have been bothered by it, been setting various combo of heroes just to edge my co-member in score value. I thought that using my heroes highly emblemed (+19s and +20) would better hers (+11, +14, +15, +16 and +17) and high level epic troops would do the trick. It didn’t. Now I got this answer. We are a full alliance battling 30 vs 30 recently and it is hard to check on everyone. Thank you, @masterslamhole.

Like everybody previously said, Usually if ur alliance mate using highly defense heroes such as aegir (or kashhrek), their points will also bulked up
Or Gormek. Have you looked at his stats? Holy cow his health is higher than half the 5’s.
Gormek is indeed a beefcake…very high HP for 4*
