She is not bad,but she could be better if she had a stronger hit and the stamina of Onatel for example, then she would be terrific! I have her maxed and i sometimes use her in wars, she is average
First version of Neith that was added to beta was very strong - her hit was on par with Justice’s, while Neith was faster and also had mana cut. She’s been seemed as ‘too OP omg SG what r u doing’. People were very scared of her becoming an unkillable tank in times when yellow and purple tanks dominated the game. So she got a rebalance change in beta cutting her damage almost in half. Then when she was released people realized she’s not as OP as they thought she would be, especially when comparing to Drake who is fast, hits much harder (even if to 3 only) and hes better class.
So then the ‘Neith is useless’ voices started to emerge. To me she was always a B+ class card, sometimes pretty annoying on defense and overall good substitute if you lack Drake’ don’t have her, so can’t speak much about the offense though. I think since her damage was reduced to 150% which is kinda Zimkitha - Zeline - Vela tier, she could be on pair with them by making her fast. But then mana cut to all at fast is probably too strong… but she’s forever considered the ‘average hero that should have been fast’.
I have her on max and personally find her not that bad as is always claimed.
However, I hardly ever use her, most during for wars, when a second Yellow team is needed. Used her also in the Ninja tower, after my Drake got cursed. She was very helpfull indeed.
Neith on defense:
- She gets to fire AFTER you move tiles…which is right when you finally charge your favorite hero, but now it’s Neith turn…Grrrrrr…!
Neith on offense:
- She gets to fire BEFORE you move tiles…which is practically meaningless for 10% mana drain. The enemy is wondering who farted. And maybe this confusion causes them to miss, since they do charge-up, regardless after you send tiles, along with Neith’s poo particles from yesterday’s Taco Bell.
Heroes that matter most:
- Defense?
Or… - Offense?
The latter…of course!
Because e&p players live in an echo chamber and can’t judge things for themselves, mostly. But for the ones that do try, they tend to judge on a scale of 0-2, where 2 is broken, 1 is average, and 0 is trash. Because there’s no such thing as nuance anymore.
I agree with @Rigs: Neith has useful specials, but each of them is a little bit not enough to make Neith a great hero.
Neith looked pretty good in beta. On release, she was the gold equivalent of a post-nerf Telluria.
First version of Neith was dealing 220% damage to all if i remember correctly, on top of the same skills she has now.
Of course with that kind of damage, we (beta testers) called for a nerf.
From 220% to 150% in a single version was quite brutal, that’s why probably she is now considered bad even if it’s not.
Actually, regardless of beta her skills:
- 150% of damage to all. The same as a 4* Li Xiu and less than 180% of costumed Li Xiu
- Mana cut by 10% is the same as Li Xiu has
- 30% less accuracy for 4 turns. Is less than that of 4* Hu Tao.
So all Neith’s skills are less or equal to 4* heroes, which hardly can be considered good for the hero of the month.
If I’m not mistaken 150% of damage was the original skill of Kadilen and it was eventually increased to 190%.
After all, Neith happened to be a half-baked hero.
I’ve been playing with a mist+18, odin +5, neith 3/70, malosi stack…mist to special def down then odin and neith to whip and malosi to target which special to block been highly effective and neith is actually the key between mana cut and accuracy down it allows the rest of the team to charge up again
The OP is adjusted with 2022 September balance updates.
Now I really want Neith! I like my mana cutting heroes
I’m curious to see how this affects her usage. Didn’t’ Guin have the same 20% cut and it made her frustrating just hitting 3. Neith hits all and blinds them on top of it. (glad I have 1 of her, just need darts now)
Which are :))? By the way, I am sure that Bastet and El Naddah are heavily influencing those results
2800 cups from yesterday and they don’t drop, also it’s not because of bastet and nada, it’s the combination, before this I was in 2700 range, yes 100 cups it’s not so much but…
At this level, the 100 cups are relevant. The question is if you’ll stay there for longer. I still have Xno in my defense and lost almost no cups, I guess I did not get attacked by very strong players
What I know in this game its that, don’t have strong or week opponents have good or bad boards
I have put her from yesterday after the buff and will try her and in the war so will see how she perform
He it’s still the best if you pair him with fast and average heros, you will see difference in slow and very slow heros.
